This coming in a thread asking what will happen if Mullen wins 2 natties in the next 4 years? I love it

Thanks for keeping this tread on the front page and ahead of the "If UG is able to reach it's full potential with Kirby" post. Go Gators!!! Always in your heart and head!

1) You responded to yourself.
2) The UGA thread you referred to is already 3 pages back. Who is in whose head?

Late to this discussion but this is something I have been saying since Mullen was hired. Im not sure there is a better fit for a coach and the program as well. He will need a year or maybe two but once he gets things going his way, UF will be a force in the sec and give UGA some proper competition. The only thing im unsure about is his recruiting. We know the guy can coach, he took miss st from being a doormat to being a team you had to take seriously. Anyone have insight on his recruiting ability?

Since I never expect UF to lose to anyone lets go with
15-0
15-0
15-0
15-0

You can quote me on that.

Way more worried about Richt than I am Taggart in recruiting and on the field results. Taggart's class was really kind of bleak, and propped up by 3 highly rated cornerbacks.

They only have 2 4* skill players.

That kind of recruiting isn't impressive to me, not like what's going on at Georgia or even Miami. A lot of recruiting is making sure you have balance, and not just recruiting one side of the ball.

I think Mullen has a chance to restore Florida to its full potential.

One of the hardest tasks for a team is to find a QB. And Mullen is one of the best at that.

I like the use of transfers to infuse quick talent.

That said... there are legitimate questions (recruiting, defensive coordinator, OL are a few that jump out quickly). Can Florida be patient if this does not turn into a 2 year fix?

It is smart to assume that Mullen will be the answer until proven otherwise. Florida is that good of a school. Mullen is that good of a QB whisperer.

Mullen was like their fourth choice. They're screwed.

It was said that Mullen hated his time at Florida. It makes sense that he wasn't higher on their wish list knowing that.

But UFs got needs.
And money to buy those needs.
There was a price for Mullen to go back, and here we are.
How we got to this point no longer matters.

So let's get the rant's thinking straight.

10 win ceiling?

He won that at Miss State. The WORST program in SEC history. A program that was winning 2-4 games a year before he got there.

So, explain to me again why he was your third choice?

Is the rant really this stupid? Mullen was in the West, a far more loaded division, and could win 8-10 a year.
Again. Third choice? Why? You were ready to hire a non P5 coach, but when he turned you down you went to 3rd man up. Why? I mean, he's going to win multiple Natty's for you, now, right?

First post you made in this thread I agree on.

Wait. Who is Mullen? Chip Kelly is Florida's coach! You said so yourself! Guaranteed it! Done deal! Contract signed!

Where's StarwsDrawnAt Random! he'll back you up on this!

He was the fricking QB coach at both stops. Meyer has 70+ wins and a NC with Mullen not on staff. Meyer is great because of Meyer.

He signed multiple 4* WRs, DT/LBs, and OL. Lulz at you thinking his transition class isn't good. He started after Mullen and ended up ahead of him. Their problem was defense and OL. We'll see what happens in November. I expect a loss til Mullen shows he can win big games

At MSU? Sure.

At UF? Can you provide me the winning lotto numbers for tonight?

He signed two 4* skill position players, those two receivers.

Meanwhile, at Florida we have at least 4 WRs who are better or the same, a 4* QB and a 4* RB along with the defensive prospects we had.
