A $4 million insurance policy over guaranteed money. Even if this is an LSU player it doesn't make any sense. Bama fans fail to understand if he gets hurt again, NFL owners don't draft injury prone players with high 1st round picks. Kill it with the we scared crap, its stupid. It doesn't make sense.

Your team is playing for the NC, and you start a thread about...Alabama.

Tua is trash. He is good for a few games then will get injured and sit out the rest of the year....again

If he was guaranteed to be in the first 10 picks he'd be going to the NFL.

That is kind of the point.

Some of y’all need to accept that he’s an adult who can make his own decisions.

Quit melting. Kid is fun to watch, and the SEC will be better if he returns and is cleared to play next year.

I guarantee LSU’s players respect him, but they aren’t afraid of him.

Well today I learned that fans determine whether a player decides to declare for the draft or not.

I felt the same when Fournett left early. Top five pick go make that money man. It doesn't make sense to come back

Nick has always said they'll support a kid's decision to leave for first round money. So what this tell's me is that Tua may have been given a <1st round grade.

I don't have a dog in the fight. The kid is much like Burrow in that he's done everything in a totally first-class way throughout his career. There's nothing you can say to knock his game other than that he could improve on certain aspects just like any player could, Burrow included.

The only thing that's an issue is his history of injuries. He's been completely beaten up in less than 2.5 years as a starting QB at Alabama. Two HAS that required surgery, coming back midseason from both. Suffering another gruesome injury that everyone was saddened by. One that the jury is still out on the type of comeback he will have.

I will root for the kid for the rest of his life. Whether he's bagging groceries or running for Congress in Hawaii. But man...if he got a 1st round grade and is being legitimately told he's a Top 10 pick...with the health questions he's got surrounding him, I'd take the generational wealth that opportunity provides and focus on a professional future.

But I'll respect whatever that kid does.

But he's not a Top 5 pick, and it's very possible he doesn't end up being a Top 10 pick.

That's the entire reason him staying is even a possibility.

You just answered your own question. The difference i $$$ between 1st half of the 1st round, and 2nd round money is very significant, and he ain't going in the first 10 picks this year.
