But the stadiums would prob not be half way full for some. Pbviously USA, UK, France, Mexico, Brazil would fill up..but like Croatia or Korea would not at all.

Unfortunately SEC stadiums would not be able to adapt to soccer pitch dimensions and housing the visitors would be another factor. The only cities that could accommodate the visitors could be Nashville and Austin and even then, they have limited hotel rooms.

Nashville has 60,000 hotel rooms in its GSA with 20,000 rooms in progress for the 2030 Super Bowl....So 80,000 in the next 3 years ...

People down here do not care much about soccer at all. The USA and Mexico and maybe England and Irish games would sellout but most would not prob.

Austin and Nashville are the only cities capable of hosting, sending foreign tourists to Baton Rouge would be an all time bad look for this country

We have had a couple of international friendlies at Kyle Field that drew good crowds, but it’s very much a novelty. I think the field is slightly smaller than FIFA requires for a Wolrd Cup, even extending it as close to the stands as possible

Problem is a lot of our stadiums are old with concrete bases with seating right up by the field, making them too narrow for a soccer game and not able to remove seating to fix that issue

Watching Soccer is as exciting as watching a truck rust. It’s also the only sport I can think of where the offensive player receiving ball can’t be past the defense player (offsides). Like saying wide receiver has to catch ball in front of the DB.
