re: If Texas never beaten Georgia, would they still be getting all this preseason hype?

Isn't that cognitive dissonance?
Let's see if he actually replies to you.

Since you aren’t making excuses:
What are your reasons for not winning the big12 then fleeing that conference like a scalded dawg?
We sucked and our resources were limited, partly because of geography and partly because we had a shitty partner.
We "ran away like a scalded dawg" to the SEC West?
You don't give yourselves enough credit.

Yea, UGA’s best player choosing to not play is totally irrelevant. Brilliant thought process you have.

It's not because of Georgia that they haven't gotten over it. It's because of Mike Stoops squandering a lead. We've been wanting him fired for years before we played you and he cost us yet again. That's what they haven't gotten over.
Don’t forget that Uga shut down the powerful sooner offense in the 2nd half. We nearly broke baker in two. Probably doesn’t happen if our best player chooses to not play, right?

If you put the word Texas in the title you get 8 pages. Facts.
Aggie comes in here tripping over their own dicks to tell you how much they don’t care. Bunch of chuckle fricks.

Like the rain in south Florida, you can set the clock to it.

Coming from the fan base that quite literally boo hoos about what Texas did to them, their conference and their collective psyche. Now THAT is rich.

You sound like a guy who makes lots of excuses.
Is every outcome of every game indicative of how good a team is?
If so, explain Maryland two years in a row.
Or Oklahoma State last year.
Make no mistake about it, Texas took us to the woodshed and deserved the credit. But lets not act like Texas has never crapped the bed. Was Oklahoma State and Maryland better teams than Texas? if not what happened?

His fumble on our 12 yard line was ultimately the point differential in the outcome.

I’ve never seen a more insecure bunch (and you can’t include entire fan base on this. They’re from Texas, and that still means a lot).
It’s just the 7 or 8 losers that do an absolute terrible job repping their fan base here on the frequents.

These tears are almost as delicious as the post game ones.
The off season isn't all bad.

To feed off of that proves how far texas has fallen as a program. Texas wanted that game so badly because they really didnt expect anything better.

That's true....and it had nothing to do with our motivation, refs, or any other delusional outside force. Georgia made excellent halftime adjustments and we couldn't counter. See?

You're more accepting then I am but I'm also not an idiot. Georgia was better than texas. By far. Lsu was better than AnM by far. But Georgia didn't show up against Texas because they were down from not meeting expectations in the season and AnM won because of a large string of completely awful, possibly rigged calls which led to both the longest and worst officiated game in college football history.
They beat UGA and yes you are an idiot.

There's always at least one "top ten" program hyped up by E-spin unjustly so we can laugh at them.

Of course because motivation and focus can’t possibly be an issue for a playoff game vs an elite team. There is a reason Roquan didn’t sit out the rose bowl like deandre baker sat out the sugar bowl.

There seems to be one... And he doesn't have posting permissions on our board to my knowledge. I'm not 100% convinced he's not an alter honestly, but he does come across as someone with the awareness level of a 7 year old...
Texas played well, planned well, we didn't. Blame it on whatever the frick makes you happy, but it is what it is. Fortunately, in the grand scheme of things, that bowl, like everything else that isn't the CFP anymore, means frick all.
Hopefully was a learning experience for the team AND the coaches.
ETA: Just caught up further along in the thread... fine. 2
