This is a silly arse excuse our fan base keeps using because we got beat. Cute the way you jab at Baker in the process. Baker shut his side of the field down for two seasons and ungrateful “fans” like yourself continue to complain about him taking a basically meaningless game off.

I think Georgia has one more year to at least get to the Playoff before everyone sort of realizes that Kirby is just a more wasteful Richt (look at his recruiting budget lol).
You end the year on 4th and 11 and then Texas manhandling all of your 5-stars with much less talent -- then follow it up coming up short again the next year.
I'm glad we have a rebuilding excuse. A real rebuild.

And you sound like a guy who has little critical thinking skills. I couldn't care less about making excuses for Georgia, I simply know the better team lost. If you don't think that happens in football then I guess you don't remember 2011.

Which is insane. There isn't a college football team in the country that hasn't slipped up to a lesser team at some point.
That said, Texas outplayed us. The game was not as close as the score indicates it was. I always thought we could get back in the game, but didn't really feel like there was a shift in momentum in our favor.
In short, they did what they needed to do to win and we didn't. Unfortunately, it reminded me of the LSU game.

You barely beat a lackluster Miss. State team that lost 5 games.

So, maybe Florida fans should take a more critical look at their own shortcomings and failures and quit obsessing over georgia'd shortcomings.

Jab? Far from an insult to him. It was a simple statement of fact, and the point went way over your head.
Why was it meaningless? Why did Baker and Tucker both skip the game rather than work for UGA one more time?

Agreed. At halftime you knew Georgia was capable of coming back, but it sure didn't feel like it. I was sitting near a bunch of GA fans at the game and that first half was a nightmare for them.

More then anything I think it was the lack of focus. The air just seemed out of a pretty good Georgia team. You had one of those dreaded going through the motions games.
