Doesn't BP have a losing record against Nutt and Ole Miss still?

Why in the frick does A&M warrant any level of respect or intrigue?

They have a lopsided losing record to Texas, Arkansas, LSU and just about every one else that is worth a fart.

Their stadium is absolute trash. Their 'Yell Leaders' are figs.

Their Athletic Department takes out loans from the education side.

I could go on and on. A&M would spend 10 to 15 years playing catch up, like Arkansas did, and even once they've semi-caught up, they would still be behind no less than 8 to 10 SEC schools.

Make this shite stop. They are Mississippi State in a good year. Stop letting the word 'Texas' on their jersey fool you into thinking there is something special in College Station. There isn't.

Former Auburn and current Texas Tech coach publicly came out and warned A&M one year ago that the move was not in the football program's best interest.

Tuberville spent a few years at A&M as DC before his first head coaching job and I'm assuming Tuberville feels like he owes the place a debt of gratitude after acheiving a somewhat stellar head coaching career.

I personally feel like they would get kicked around pretty good their first few years.

This! aTm is trending up right now.

1990-1997 were just frickin HORRIBLE years for us.

I was born in 1969..... and 1990 was the first losing season in my lifetime. In fact 1958 was our last losing season before the Jack Crowe/Joe Kines/Danny Ford era.

On a side note, whomever the Big 12 'champ' is will have a strength of schedule somewhere around the 7th circle of hell, with no conference title game to bolster their shite-tastic resume.

Even if A&M, UT or OU go undefeated, the best a 12-0 Big 12 'Champ' can hope for is that the SEC, Pac 12 or Big 10 champ has 2+ losses.

Shy of other conferences having 2 loss winners, there is no way in hell the Big 12 'Champ' makes it to the BCSNC.

NOT-GOING-TO-HAPPEN

How would you like to know going into the season that the best case scenario is a #3 seeding and an irrelevant BCS bowl?

Playing in much easier conferences than the current SEC, A&M has won one national title (pre WWII) and hasn't had a top 5 finish in over a half century. However, their fan-base is convinced they'll be better positioned for a BCS title in the SEC. If you can make heads or tails of aggie logic, you'll be the first.

I know that it makes you feel better to rattle off nonsense like this. I have a feeling you will be suicidal in early December.

Texas average SOS over the last 8 years: #60

8 SEC teams in that same time frame have an average SOS inside the Top 15.

But moving forward, lets say Texas goes 12-0. Who will they jump to get into the BCSNC with a SOS that's going to be even worse this year and every year moving forward than any in the past?

The Big 12 champ will jump the SEC champ? The Pac 12 champ? The Big 10 champ? Get real.

The best you can hope for is the other power conference champs have 2+ losses. That's the only way you get in the discussion.

But I would L-O-V-E to read your path to the BCSNC. LOL
