If State wins the CWS, do they become the top dog in Mississippi?

I think Ole Miss is considered the better athletic school because they made up some football championships from the 50s. But State winning an actual title on the field puts them on top, right?

No. It’s Father’s Day weekend, and we’re still their daddy.

Happy Father’s Day to Ole Miss.

It would be the first team national championship in the state of Mississippi, so I would say yes.

They claim Mississippi is their state. And honestly, they can have it. I don't want my university claiming the fattest and dumbest state in the US is theirs

NCAA says Ole Miss football in 1960 is. So that's a negative

Well you will be relieved to know that the opposite is actually true, it's in the name.

Ole miss will always be "the" school in Mississippi.

I don't care how many baseball titles state wins.

That title actually belongs to Arkansas now. Tennessee, alabama, and Louisiana isnt that far behind either.
