If State fires Lebby this season, do they go after Mullen?

If Urban or Saban won't come out of retirement, I say Kiffin gets the call.

Mullen is a really good coach for the NIL era. Dude loathed traditional recruiting and does more with less (just not at Florida). If Lebby gets the boot this year I wouldn’t mind it. You don’t have to have a great QB to run his system either, they just need to be mobile, tough, and a decent passer. You can spread your NIL money around more.

I say they take a flyer on Whiskey Pete when he goes 7-5. I mean he does have 2 playoff wins after all.

State wouldn’t take Golding right now. Ole Miss is already putting out feelers for a better coach.

Mullen being a head coach in the SEC again needs to happen.

LSU will need to wait for Kiffin to leave or be fired in order to lure Mullen to LSU.

What?! No way! Mullen wasn't ready to get back to coaching again in the SEC. If you were talking about LSU, UGA, or Alabama then that would be something.

It's fascinating how you are trying to troll State when OM is being coached by someone with very little experience as a HC. But, good luck to you. I'm sure Pete will have OM in the playoffs. No doubt about it.

Mullen is a really good coach for the NIL

That's what killed him at Florida.

When the floodgates opened in 2019 he basically went to UF for more support (bagmen) and Florida told him no this is a fad and pushed for legislation banning NIL at the state level.

The Napier era was a self inflicted wound that started there.

That said he's making $4 mil a year and can go 7-5 every year and keep his job I don't think he'd come back to the SEC.

False.

When Kiffin leaves LSU, Ed O will swoop in as Interim HC.

Lebby is generally considered to be on the hot seat this year. Mullen is the best HC State has ever had and is still winning at a good clip. Seems like a fairly legitimate question.

Stupid LSU fan thinks that a logical question is a troll attempt.
