Nah....Don't pin that on us- because that rumor machine belongs to Nick Saban & his agent.

He knows what he's doing.

LSU would not stoop themselves to win something as subjective as the BCS title

I couldn't care less about the bcs title. I stopped caring about the bcs in 2004. Take last year for an example. Had Ohio State not self imposed a bowl ban, the BCSCG would've been Ohio St vs Notre dame, but it still wouldn't have changed the fact that bama was the best team in cfb in 2012.

Exhibition game that is no where in the NCAA record books.

All 1/9/12 proved was that given enough chances , bama can beat lsu.

Where did I say this? It's personal preference. It clearly harder to win the sec title than the bcs titles. You can't finish second in the east or west and play for a sec title. No amount of media bias can get you into the seccg. This is why I have always said that Bama's sec titles are far more impressive than those mythical national titles.

Let's correct this... "... was up 21-0 ... before LSU crossed the 50 yard line..." There, much better is it not?

Rickdaddy, you have crossed into the twilight zone with your continuted fantastical nutzy insistance that the Ala v LSU NC game never happened, didn't count, was somehow illegal. If you cannot see how stark raving crazy you sound, then you are really really really... er ... stark raving crazy.

Get some help... and while you are at it, review Fla vs Fla State 1996, and LSU's NC opponent in the BCSNC game in 2003, the non-conference winner Oklahoma.

Um....you do know OU lost the 2003 Big 12 Title Game 35-7 right? They did not win their conference.

And let's not act like Bama is the only one that had something like that happen to them.

2000- 1 loss FSU got in over 1 loss Miami (beat FSU), who was ranked #2
2001- Nebraska lost to Colorado in blowout fashion, didn't win their division.
2003- The aforementioned OU

Corndoggy... no, OK did NOT win their conference ... that is the point you foolish tool!

This is hilarious... an example of mass denial and butthurt. It's amazing how many corn dogs absolutely refuse to acknowledge 1/9. To them it just didn't happen, was a cheat and mistake and didn't count.. funny ... that's not what the LSU ring say... which is "2nd place."

Bowl stats count in NCAA records now. They might not recognize an "official" champion, but they do list it.
