You can get Talent to ND…but players like Rolando McLain / Waddle / Cooper / Hightower / Upshaw ain’t walking on campus at ND

Well you can't argue with 2012, he wouldn't have played his Alabama team and I am confident he would have beaten that Georgia team.

How do you figure? I agree Saban > Richt but Georgia had significantly better players across the board.

There's a Dodge dealership less than 5 miles from Notre Dame.

He might have been able to pull a NC off in South Bend as long as heated seats were included.

0 - Recruiting to ND is completely different recruiting to SEC schools (Vandy aside). Recruits go to ND to get a degree from ND or be a part of the ND history. Bama, LSU, UGA kids go there to get into the league and win titles, compete in the SEC etc. He would have the same record or worse Kelly has.

this is such an aodrable take.

So name the best that would qualify to enroll at ND that have equivalent talent to the players mentioned.

What do you know about Waddle / Hightower?

Over the years, alabana fans have pointed out that Sabans success is more about being at alabana than him as a coach..,so just going off of what alabana fans have expressed show that he would have zero NCs at ND.

Because it would not have been the same ND and Saban coaching it.

That Alabama team wasn't the best ever, come on. They lost to Texas A and M.

So your thread is just that Notre Dame would have Alabama's national championships?

I do not think so. ND wasn't going to lower their academic standards for any coach. He would have struggled just like the rest to recruit great athletes to ND.

Notre Dame isn’t some sleeping giant like the bullshite east coast media likes to make them out to be. They’re barely a better job than other Midwestern places like Nebraska.

That TAMU team had Johnny Football and won 11 game. They obliterated OU in the bowl game. 2012 Bama didn't have quite the defense as 2011 Bama but the OL was better, as was the entire offense. The 2012 Alabama team was elite.

None, the rant has taught me that Saban is only as good as his recruiting and that you can't recruit talent at Notre Dame.

I don't think Saban would ever go to Notre Dame, he is a control freak and Notre Dame would never give it up

Get fricked dude. In you’re hypothetical fantasy you just so happened to pick the years that ND was in the CFP or BCS championship game as the 3 years he would have won a title. Even though you’re an alter trying to troll LSU: If we’re gonna live in fantasy land how about we at least be creative.

The same amount he has now. I am convinced that man could win almost anywhere.
