So why did A&M join the SEC then?

No we definitely do not tell kids if they play at OU they get to play in TX. That's stupid. Don't say dumb shite.

I guess it’s a moot point because unless one of us moves to Texas and gets recruited by OU we won’t know exactly what gets said...and we’ll never see the larger affects of it because OU will always be in the same conference as UT. You’re attached to them, tongue to testicles.

Nothing needs to be said. TX is a high population state with a shite-ton of talent and OU is known from Dallas to Houston in that state and has been for decades.

Telling a kid who played all of his life in TX that he can play some college ball in TX doesn't have any discernible value. So what?

Kids come to OU because it's OU and we have a massive alumni base in the DFW area and have for decades.

Well, OU has a great offense. Their line play and defense leave a ton to be desired - just another BDF team

You’re really foolish if you believe that.

Kids don't give a shite whether they can play a game or two back in their home state. They care about who can get them to the next level. Who's foolish here? Me or you?

I didn’t realize they were that delusional, but I haven’t had that much acquaintaince with them because they’re only around here one month a year.

Yeah, that was a fairly ignorant statement by him. Is that their number 1 pitch? Of course not but plenty of kids love that they will get more chances to play in front of family and friends.

You just have no concept of what recruits are motivated by at all is your problem. If South Carolina's pitch to recruits is that they can "play a game or two back in their home state", that certainly explains your lack of prowess at recruiting. That's the dumbest thing I've heard today.

Iowa State has 14 kids on their roster from Texas and Oklahoma

Iowa has 2.

Why do you think that is?

Because Iowa is a B1G team and relies on recruiting in the midwest like they always have. Kids from the midwest tend to play in the B1G.

Oklahoma has had the best offensive line in the country for a couple years now. The defense I’ll give you that, but the DC being announced after the playoffs is Pete Golding and he’s bringing bamas DB coach with him so that will be fixed, then what? Riley on the offensive side of the ball and even a half arse competent defensive coach makes OU one of the scariest teams in the country.

Great, you’re half way admitting it. So why are Texas kids going to Iowa State and not Iowa?
