re: If OU was in the SEC

OU recruits well because they are one of the national top programs. Not a recent national program but a long running national program. They have adjusted their method specifically to take advantage of the teams they face most often. Not long ago they were a big time defense system with a hard nose running game. They would do well in the SEC (after a couple of years to adjust) which is why they were viewed as one of the potential best fits to come to the SEC years ago. They missed that boat, by their own choices.

Lots of the posters here do not have a long time in the saddle view/memory of what OU once was. Nor do they have a good understanding (or admit to it) of what they could choose to be again.

I look forward to Alabama facing off with OU in a couple of weeks. Just keep your dirty thieving hands off of our coaches.
