I guess he has no concept of football before the big 12 was formed? Oklahoma got any Texas kid they wanted under Switzer in the big 8 without any Texas teams in conference...A coach at Oklahoma has to simply walk in the door in Texas and you are in a recruits top 3. It’s been that way for idk how long since the 50s?

He thinks all things are equal in the recruiting world and that all programs face the same reality. He's delusional.

That's why you clicked on the title, read it, clicked reply, typed in your response, hit submit... and now you are reading this. Because you don't care.

My point is it doesn't matter "what you said". I know my school's recruiting tactics and have been following it since I was old enough to understand it. I know better than you do what OU's recruiting tactics are and what we sell kids.

That's what YOU don't seem to understand. And that's your problem.

I think OU should join. Or just replace Mizzou.

I'm not melting. You're the one who's emotional and needs a pint of Haagen Daaz and a good cry here, not me.

Butter Pecan or Marshmallow fudge?

Nah. We’ve been here for a bit. We’ll trade Arky. Y’all won more divisinal titles in the last 10 years than they have.

This is one incredibly dumbass thread.

I do love all the Sooner fans pining for the SEC though.

It’s as good as it looks. Trust me. Game days are 1000X as significant as they are in the Big 12.

Y’all have fun though lol

I get the reaction from the aggies because their worst nightmare is an SEC Oklahoma, but the other schools and Mizzou??? Doesn’t make sense. Why would Missouri not want to move to the west with Oklahoma and A&M? That’s 2 marquee matchups in amazing stadiums right down I35...for the other members it would allow cross divisions games to be played more often? There’s really no downsides to it I can see other than Aggie would go back to being pummeled by OU and lose even more of their Houston recruits?

Who would we add to the east? Clemson, FSU, Miami or maybe even UCF so they can finally earn some respeck?

I’d say the sec could have their pick, I think Grabbing UCF or Miami would be best though.
