We laid a lot of eggs with Saban. The most memorable one was 2010. Auburn or Alabama played for a national championship for 5 years in a row. We won 3 and should have won 4. In 2010, we played Auburn and were up 24-0 at halftime. And LOST, only for them to win the NC 4 weeks later

It’s crazy to think that Jimbo beat Auburn’s team of destiny on a last drive slant the WR took for chunk yards to put the game away.

Nuss is a very good college QB, he just isn't a Heisman caliber guy. And thats fine, most schools would love to have a top 10 QB. You really owned us by pointing out that having merely a top 10 QB is a "disappointment" in recent years for LSU.

Sellers or Manning IMO are the only players in the SEC with a real shot at winning the Heisman this year. I dont think Sellers has the surrounding cast to get there, and Im not sold on Manning being anything more than a very good college QB.

Most of the big time programs have first time starters this year, its pretty rare for first time starters to dominate their first year. Im expecting someone like Klubnik or Mendoza to win, veteran QBs who have vet surrounding casts and will likely put up big box score stats.

The backup came in and whooped arse this year.

LSU sure can’t handle them backups who attempt 2 passes against them.

It was irrelevant whether their defense thought the QB or RB would run the ball, it’s the fact that they knew it was a run play coming after run play, and they couldn’t stop it. Probably had 8 DBs on the field bc they thought Connor was gonna play the whole game.

The whole zero-adjustments thing confused me, tbh. I’m not trolling at all. The dude literally attempted 2 passes. I mean, at some point you’ve gotta load the box. It can’t go much worse than it already was at that point. If he’s killing you on the ground but hasn’t tested your DBs, force him to make some plays through the air.

Still waiting to see the Brett Favre they make this kid out to be in Baton Rouge.

LSU permanently ruined your last great QB, and now he’s so broke he had to switch to rolled up pesos to snort his coke out of a hooker’s arse.

Just a reminder that it would take 30 years,

Vandy hadn't beaten y'alls arse since 1984... and just like that, all those years were gone.

Still amazed that bama fans don't mind a vandy and ou loss. They're more excited about a win over LSU than they are pissed about those embarrassing losses.

Honestly, not too bad considering Sanders was a 4 year starter and Nuss was starting for the first time, in the SEC.

And you know the coaches boy was gonna call his own plays.

Why compare a Southern Miss QB to an SEC QB?

Hell, throw up Brett's numbers and compare them with each SEC QB from last season. How many QBs the Brett's outperform?

And only one of them was a starter last season.

Everyone is putting a lot on Manning.. yet he hasn't played a full SEC season.

We gave his true comparison, Shedeur Sanders, posted almost identical numbers (Nuss had less TDs, 70 more throws, more picks). Both can’t rush the ball.

As far as Bret Farve, maybe don’t call Nuss “a gun slinger” anymore.

Nussmieir appears to be as good a QB as his Dad is an Offensive Coordinator.

They did, the three safeties just couldn't make the plays. That part absolutely has to improve for LSU to have any shot.

They couldn't stop any type of good running quarterback last year and really struggled to even slow then down.

To be fair, I didn’t actually watch the game except for the replays, just X feeds and the ESPN gametracker thing.
