As I said in the other thread, if not A&M I would follow LSU. Their defense is "usually" great and they are fun to watch. I have a lot of friends that went there.

I guess just based on proximity and having a large portion of my family from Georgia, it'd be Georgia.

As a Tennessee fan, probably Georgia for geography reasons and I love the Braves.
I love when SEC rivals can bond over their shared love of the first professional sports team in the South.

I, for some unexplainable reason, have always liked South Carolina.

We're a plucky bunch who loves our program, especially when it has never loved us back.

I live in Tennessee now, and have some good friends who are Vols. I have a soft spot for them, though I never pull *for* them.

I guess it would be NC State. Maybe West Virgnia.

If UGA did not exist I would be a GT fan. May have wound up being a Tech fan were it not for the 1978 UGA/UK game and Herschel Walker coming along in 1980. Grew up in Atlanta and tickets to Tech games were easy to come by so we went to a bunch of Tech games. When UGA won the 1978 UK game with a late FG it kind of sealed the deal with me but 1980 certainly did. No ties to either as far as schools go, I was the second in my family to graduate high school and the first to go to college and get a degree....did not apply to either because neither had evening classes and I worked full time.

Ole Miss, I deer hunt in Mississippi and I’ve met a lot of friends there who are Ole Miss fans. So what the hell, I pull for them when they aren’t playing LSU.

Auburn or Tennessee. Auburn because I always felt they were most like A&M given their in state situation. Tennessee because as a kid, I loved the checkered end zone.

LSU seems fun. Good food, hot women, great atmosphere.

If not for LSU, then (in order):

SEC:
• Auburn (grandfather went to Bama, then to fight in WWII, and ended up graduating from Aubie post-war)

• Moo State (always pulled for them except when playing LSU)

• UGA or Florida (consider both as similar cultures, programs, etc. to LSU)

• Notable mention: TAMU (have some ancestors & kinfolk that attended, but they're just too cringe for me to be able to truly get on board)

Non-SEC:
• Southern, Tulane or ULaLa (regional teams)
