It’s really amazing that you consistently embarrass yourself by posting. The lack of self awareness is, in many ways, almost impressive.

Nah, we are doing very well in a rebuilding year.
We are doing much better than you will fare next year without Daniels.... that's for sure.

The moron talks about how Burrow would never have lost these games in the initial post, obviously implying Daniels isn’t so great, then spends the rest of the thread talking about how great Daniels is and how Tennessee would never have lost with him. The consistency you show in being an idiot is unrivaled, even on this board.

As a Vols fan you know all about being soft and finesse

Daniels is very good but Burrow was the one of the most clutch college QBs I've ever seen.
And there are definitely some of your fans acting like JD is the next Burrow.
There's a big difference between just posting monster stats in college as opposed to also winning in every clutch big time situation.
The ole miss game was close enough to where a generational QB should have won it. Burrow wins in that scenario imo 10/10 times.
This isn't a post to knock down JD.
He's a really good college QB, but I've seen a lot of premature hype on both him and the LSU offense.
If they light Bama up and win in Tuscaloosa I'll gladly change my tune.

Say you don't understand football without saying you don't understand football.

They lead the country in both points per game & yards per game.
They average 47.4 points per game, to answer your question:
In one of our loses, we scored 49 points, on the road - more than our season average - and still lost. So yes, our defense can be to blame.

The reasons UT lost to Bama aren't going away next year.
Poor decisions to go for it on 4th down and getting absolutely daddied by Saban & Co's 2nd half adjustments.

Tennessee historically is a smash mouth shut down defensive team that loves to pound the rock.
We just happened to have had our worst stretch of coaching hires in program history after Fulmer was let go. That's no longer a problem.
Hamilton, our AD then was cancer. Literally chose the unproven and flighty Kiffin over Gary Patterson in Patterson 's prime and we know what happened one year later which led to 13 years of being a dumpster fire.

Clearly you didn't read my post correctly idiot.
Clearly you don't understand how easy it is to lose two football games with a horrible defense.
I take that part of that back. You clearly understand losing two football games.

Daniels didn’t miss 30 open field tackles on 12 possessions.
Daniel’s didn’t drop the game winning TD pass that hit you directly in the hands as the game expired

That's easy to say from the outside looking in when you don't have a QB who you really trust not to lose the game if you keep the play calling wide open long enough.
Milton did in fact lose the Florida and Bama games with his turnovers.
Play calling wouldn't look that timid with a truly competent QB under center.
Hilarious how you guys are trying to change the topic to Tennessee in a rebuild year on offense though.

Also whiskey don't be so hasty to proclaim Heupel the savior.
He hasn't even won the East unlike Mullen and look where the Gators are now.
It's really really tough for any coach to last in the SEC

Just saw that the LSU total defense ranks in the 80s range or so.
It was close to dead last a few weeks ago and was dead last in 3rd down percentage at one point in the entire nation. That should answer your question.
