I knew Kelly was done for when he said “I know a good offensive line when I see one, and this is a good offensive line”
Listen man, you don’t have to throw your players under the bus. But it’s ok to challenge them. Same way Saban used to.

LSU isn’t hiring, Sumrall, Golesh, or Eric Morris. You don’t buyout Kelly for 54 million, and inject millions into the football program, to get a group of 5 guy.
You mean like Texas A&M did with Jimbo/Elko? I know they haven’t won anything yet - but they’re trending the right direction & they were on the brink last year (Yes, I understand Elko was a prior DC there and Duke isn’t G5 - but hiring a 7-5 Duke coach vs a 1 or 2 loss G5 team seems comparable?)
I’m with you, I don’t think we do. But it’s not like it’s never happened.

Has Freeman really done anything at ND that BK didn’t do?
He did win what would he considered 3 big time games… 3 play-off games (one over UGA btw). Seems like it’s better than what BK woulda done in those “big time games”

Listen, it’s fun to watch. But, if I recall correctly - there was never a flight to South Bend, or anywhere.
BK’s own words were that it was a phone call. Then he came to BR. It was fun tracking flights prior to this, only to realize they’re never right/an indicator.
And agents… they handle the convos and negotiations, right?

Isn’t this Freeman‘s only 4th year as a head coach. And he’s young. I’m not saying he’s the next best thing, but always comparing him to an older much more seasoned Head coach seemed odd to me. He’s still young and still learning in my opinion.
Definitely Stessa for Financials.
We also used Avail for tenant management platform/background checks.
Both are free.

If any LSU coach loses to N. Illinois, they’d be gone faster that BK.
What about if they lose to Troy? Would they be allowed to hang around 2 more seasons to then win a Natty?

But continuing to say week after week, “Yeah, but there’s no way they’ll beat xxx,”
I do think yall have a great team, and this year’s team may have the success in spite of BAS and y’all’s past. And no, I don’t think y'all collapse. At least, not enough to miss the playoffs.
But his point is specifically about this week, it was precisely this week last year, where it all happened - the question of his post.

Obviously. That game was, not in Tiger Stadium. So this was the first opportunity for their fans to travel to us, on this weekend.
People seem to forget that we exploited baker while he was at Mizzou with Daniel’s in 2023.
We had 533 yards of offense, 8.1yds per play - in a game early in the season (before I believe even Daniel’s trusted how good he himself really was).
We scored 42 offensive points, in their house (49 total with the pick-6).
So yes, he’s always been bad against dual threats.

It only looked overly impressive because the LSU fans were gone.
Which coincidentally allowed them to all move and group together.
Also, this is the first time since 2013, I believe, where this game wasn’t on Thanksgiving weekend - in Tiger Stadium.
They traveled as well as Auburn/South Carolina did. Not nearly as well as Bama, UGA or Tennessee.

2 of the coaches he’s hired have also combined for 3 natty’s already.
Yes, football is the staple, the money maker. I’m just throwing out a data point, that Mulkey has 1 & Johnson has 2, both still actively coaching, winning & pursuing more.
