Interesting now that you say that. No, it doesn’t show up on my end, or even under the “order history”. But I know the payments are processing, so it’s gone through for me at least.

living in the past now

Is it the past if you’re currently still the reigning champions?

Albeit, not defending, and less than a week remaining now.

He didn't really have to do much of anything.

He/LSU did have to beat the #1 overall seed OSU, who had the best regular season of all-time 49-4, in consecutive games to come out of the loser bracket.

The record is from 2023, 2025 LSU didn't beat it. 68,888 2025 LSU was at 52k something

Correct good sir.
In 2009, LSU won with decent pitching, but scoring most. Scored at least 7 in every game we won.

In both 2023 & 2025, it took LSU winning a game 1-0 along the way to win it all.

ETA - well technically 2023 was 2-0, but both runs came off Tommy’s Walk-off HR. Point still stands.
It’s all the seasonal J-1 Visa works use. That and the e-scooters. And they’re always wearing all black, no lights, etc.
You gotta think, these kids were like 12-14 years old watching that 2019 LSU team. So they probably did look up to them, and the 6 years later you go pull it off yourself, and get to visit the WH, to recreate the GAT video from the GOAT’s? Pretty cool.

For example, A&M is 5-6 against LSU since 2000.

I know what you’re getting at, but this is the type of sad Aggy logic that makes nobody take you seriously.

I DGAF if Bama had to vacate all their consecutive wins against us, they still whipped our arse on the field and on TV. And as a fan, that’s what sticks in my mind. Wins & losses. Not some paper BS.

You realize countless media members and such will play Augusta today right? And they aren’t going to be freaking 4 jacking most of the green

And you realize in the putting-only scenario, they are intentionally being put into the most ridiculous spot on the green to get down in 2 or 3, as to prove their point about how hard the course can be, when in the wrong spot?

Whereas these media members will not repeatedly be in the worst-case-Sanrio spot for 18 consecutive holes…

Quick hijack, is there ever a reason to not put down 20% and avoid PMI?

Assuming you have the 20%.

Well, I won't say it was smart financially, but it definitely paid off from an enjoyment perspective. Had the 20%, kept 5% back to build our boat dock & lift - we use the boat so much more with the kids since I can have it in the water in 5 minutes. Also, ended up paying the PMI at closing in lump sum - that way it's not tacked onto my monthly payment starting me in the face. It was like $2,500 if I recall? Paid approx $2,500 to keep $23K in the pocket for the boat lift. One of the best decisions we made.

So yeah, there are some scenarios
You need to look at it from a breakeven standpoint (and I'm speaking here as a loan officer myself).

1st, average life of a loan, whether it's you selling, or refinancing, etc is 7 years (84 mos).

Immediately Option C is off the table - it is comparatively worse with Option B. Extra broker fee, for the same rate = NO.

Option B compared with Option A - additional cost of $4,280/ $31.55 savings per month = 135 months breakeven. I would go for A in this scenario.

Option D compared with A - additional cost of $10,295 ($4,280 + $6,420 + $45) divided by $133.19 monthly savings = breakeven time frame of 78 months. I personally would still defer to option A here.

determine whether reducing the mortgage by 1 pt is worth the upfront cost

The 1 point you are paying is not to reduce the mortgage by 1 point - it's you paying 1% of the mortgage, just to lower your rate by 0.125%. Mortgage amount is staying the same with you paying points.

To their credit, TTU did get good/relevant pre-NIL. I believe the won the team championship in 2019 or so.
Solid. We shoulda let them run rule us again!

Last year, they DID run-rule the reigning, defending 2025 national champions. Must be a good omen!
Member ‘09?

I do, lost to ULL, Tulane, Nichols - good enough for 4th in state, but first in the nation! lol

(Also, a terrible early season home series loss to Illinois).
What’s the significance of this, for this who don’t know?

They actually do have renovation loans now, based on post-improvement value. The LTV max is usually 80% though.

His biggest problem will be 1) the house appraising & 2) this loan is not likely to pass the QM points and fees threshold. The balance will be too small.

You more likely going to need to go through a local bank with their own in-house products, or a credit union. Or, hard money lender, fix it up, then conventional rate-term refi to get out of the HML
For the teams and fans of said teams it’s not “paying off” for, yes. I feel that way about football.

I also love baseball, and love what it has/is doing for us. But, stop winning while paying out and having to learn a new team each and every year, yes.

I chuckled when they said something along the lines, after the OSU-Miami game of “Beck has the heart of a true Miami Hurricane” haha, wtf. The same guy that was a Dawg this time last year????

So what have you done in the present? Gone 0-fer in the playoffs?

2000 isn’t walking back through that door

Pretty sure it happened to LSU softball, ironically, she left for Alabama IIRC.
I get what you’re saying, the difference is, if compared directly with bama - they beat them straight up, At BDS.

What a dawg. Love that guy.

I’ll always remember him for the UF game. That 95yd TD or whatever it was, called back cuz he was held, I looked up mid play with UF streaking down the sideline - Guillory was standing his ground pointing the opposite direction, knew he was held, saw the flag, didn’t even give chase. Was fantastic.
