The ole miss game was close enough to where a generational QB should have won it.

the one where his receiver dropped the pass in the endzone that would have won it?

Then why do they have two losses already just at mid season?

Cuz there is this other side of the ball called defense and we aren't very good at it.

To counter this - I've seen TONS of LSU fans claiming that their offense is so good, that they don't need a defense. Good offense better than good defense. Blah blah blah.

Let's all agree that LSU is a good example of how a GREAT offense can only get you so far. You need above average in both offense and defense if you want to compete at the highest level.

You also need consistency, which Bama doesn't have

The real question is just how bad will you be when Daniels leaves and your offense comes back down to earth?

We had an elite offense in 2019. Is that the earth you speak?

There is a reason that every thread you create has over 50 downvotes... take out the orange-colored contacts. Bobby Hill had his opportunity last year, and completely choked. You can't claim the Natty at the beginning of the year, and then claim a 're-building year" after your team gets waxed by a mediocre FL, and after Bama snatches victory from your smirking face with a second half onslaught...

Nico will transfer, your program will fall back to mediocrity... if its not already back there.

No offense, but you might be the dumbest person on this site.

I gurantee you were calling for Tennessee to have a 6 or 7 win season last year.

Heupel took over a 3 win roster that was also decimated by transfer portal losses.

You are such a frickin clown that i shouldn't even bother to reply to this garbage.

Everyone on this board and even volnation for that matter were calling for 5 wins in 2021 and 6 to 8 for 2021.

Now go away and please stop stealing my oxygen.

Tennessee is already good on the lines, defense and special teams.

Most were saying it would take us at least 5 to 6 years to even get that far after the disaster that was cornbread happened.

Hell, most were saying we would never recover, much less in only two years.

Holy shite, you are dumb.

If we had JD at QB, we would easily be undefeated right now.

Would you have played him on defense to stop Etienne and Montrell Johnson from ripping y'all a new one?

One side tries to score and the other is trying to stop them.

Yeah i didn't realize yall were THAT bad on defense. Was thinking more in the 40 to 50 ish range. Your roster is way too talented to be that low on defense.

I still think a Burrow led team wins those games though especially the Ole Miss game.

My OP is valid.

We don't know what they will look like against a top 10 defense until it happens. Pump the brakes is all I'm saying. The early comparisons to 2019 are crazy.

You are the dumbass not me.

Yeah...okay. Good luck with that whole best offense ever thing when you are sitting at 3 losses

Idk what would feel worse. Starting November with 3 losses or starting November with 0 losses and exiting with 2. Weird troll seeing as you know a thing or two about top offenses wasted by a shite defense. Remember when your teams playoff hopes were ruined by giving up 63 points to shitty South Carolina

One of the most consistent thing about all your alters is "all of you" are consistently dumb. As are most 12 year olds. And most 12 year olds can't talk without cussing, a lot. And strictly as an aside, with bama this weekend, LSU will have played 3 teams in the Top 10. Funny, too, when the "rebuilding " quote shows up at just about the same time as it did in the Vol's baseball season. From national contenders pre season to rebuilding half way thru. According to you/your alters.

Nope. Your coach is an imbecile. “Following analytics” is as smart as “trusting the science”

All I'm saying is it's way too freakin early to start comparing their offense to 2019 until they play some real defenses and also like i said Joe B wins that Ole Miss game and probably FSU as well.

JD only had one TD throw that game along with a pick.

LSU has not played a current top 25 ranked defense so far.

Sorry if calling them a paper tiger so far hurts this board's little feelings though.
