If by people in the know you mean the other coaches in the Big 10 that consistantly beat the crap out of him....then sure.

Is Saban winning with Shula's players?
Hell no, or Auburn would be going for 8 in a row.

How many Saban Players are on LSU's team now which is currently #9 in the nation?
These are Miles' players and that why the offense is anemic. LSU will not be #9 for long. And yes I know that LSU will probably beat Auburn.
Hey Smartass 7 of Bama's defensive starters are Shula's recruits. They are seniors.

How about this; If Miles gets to the SEC title game this year is he a better coach than Saban?
Yes.

Auburn was ranked #9 last year when we went into the game with LSU.
I though AU fell out of the top 10 after the crappy MSU game last year.

If he can beat Saban the next two years, I will say he is better than Saban. I dont see it happening in the foreseeable future, period.

Out of that list, McElroy and Arenas were recruited by Shula. The rest are Coach Saban's recruits.

Miles won a NC with a defense loaded with experienced stars brought in and coached to perfection by Pelini on the defensive side. Why not just admit it? Even then he almost managed to still mess it up with all that talent.
Fixed that for you bud.
One year with Saban doesn't equal into being coached to perfection 3 years later.. Jesus... and I could give a crap about this whole Saban argument but fair is fair.
Pelini's Def was not that good in '07.
LSU scored enough against Ky and Arky to easily win those games. Bo's defense was criticized all year.
TT torched Neb last week. Bo is overated imo.

It doesnt matter if they were recruited by Saban so much as his coaching them.
JR said he liked Miles better. That Miles was a players coach. But Saban was a better coach. He was better at X's and O's and getting the most out of players by demanding it. Said Miles was more of a "rah rah" coach.

bump
It's game week. If Miles beats Saban and makes it to the SEC title game all gumps would have to agree Miles is a better coach, Right? That would be the only possible explanation since bama is so vastly superior to lsu in every aspect of the game. I mean w/ all that talent and money being paid to Saban -- if he loses -- Miles is simply a better coach and gets more out of his talent.
For the record Miles & Co. exploit the matchups better than Saban & Co. during the game.
Key factors:
1. JJ's ability to scramble and make plays outside the pocket
2. Parsons lead blocking at FB in short yardage.
3. Shep at RB,Wildcat and throwing for the 1st time this year.
4. LSU's 6'5" WRs vs. bama secondary
5. LSU's special teams; namely our coverage and trindon.
6. PP and company forcing GMac into some bad decisions (2 ints)
LSU 27-13

Good Bump....SEC Ranter/WRT is a fricking fool.

Anyone who plays the Saban's Players argument is just ignorant.

How confident are you that we will have a running game against Bama? I mean, it was Tulane.

What's the iTunes equivalent of a broken record?

Hopefully losing to ULM and UAB will be prizes Saban gets to keep all to himself.
Why is this even relevant when 1 of those happened to LSU. Saban wasn't on the field to tell Booty to draw up a play from high school.

Common knowledge the FB has been a position of weakness this year -- O-line as well. But, the O-line seems to be getting on the same page as of late -- blocking assignments/zone blocking looks improved. Can't say will definitely run on bama but I believe Miles played Parsons for a reason. Whether to just give Saban something to think about; look at on film or if he intends to use Parsons come game time, IDK. IMO we're using Parsons in short yardage situations b/c McClain is a load and the bama backers may be best group in the country. I really think Shep will be used early and often -- as a decoy also. And I believe they'll have him throw it a time or two.

Never that is pure heresy... Miles is winning with Saban's players you know and his IQ (Miles) is well below 100. Why ask this question?

i dont get the bump? I thouhgt in another thread you said we had no chance of winning?
