You seem really fascinated by the thought of me and flutes. I know you have those fantasies, but you really shouldn't project them onto others.
Avoiding the questions?
re: Is Butch Davis Leaving NC?

Miami was in the Big Least when he was their coach.
His out of control teams were such an embarrassment to Miami that the administration intervened regarding the type of kids they would allow Coker to recruit. Coker had to compete in ACC minus the talented thugs Davis brought to the program thus had less success.

He's a great recruiter. Coach, that's debatable.
Post whore, what do you know about coaches? Ever play for one?
You know more about making high school avatars than football coaches.

There are a lot of coaches that know Miles is over his head and would understand completely if he got run.
Yes and here is a quote from the same post of mine that you responded to -

Someone would gladly take the job
I know that there are several outstanding coaches who are better than Miles by a LOT who would jump at the opportunity to coach at LSU.
But unfortunately we won't get to see this happen for a year or two.
In the meantime, I will root for Miles to bring in competent people to surround him rather than root for him to fail miserably so that he gets fired.

Was your coach better than Miles?
Awaiting your answers!

"Stuck with Miles" question
Its ok if we never win the SEC West again as long as we are better than when Curley Hallman was here. Nobody can expect us to realistically compete with UF or Bama. Particularly Bama, because Saban is in year 3 there now and Miles has only been here 5 years. He hasn't had time to build up to what Saban has
LSU will win the west within 2 or 3 yrs, maybe even next.
Florida will continue to be the team to beat based on recruiting advantages etc. As Bear Bryant said yrs ago,If Florida every cares about football, everyone else will be playing for second. Enter Spurrier and look at SEC since. LSU plays Florida every year. Bama plays UT. UThug has been down past 3 yrs which benefits Bama.LSU has been forced to play inexperienced QBs the past 2 yrs which has hurt the Tigers.
There is not as much difference in the top 20 recruiting classes as most here seem to think.
I guess SC should fire Carroll as they lose to inferior teams every year. Look at the huge difference in the recriting rankings of USC and the teams they lost to. Mack Brown tends to do the same. He almost let clock expire w/o getting a FG attempt. Jim Tressell needs fired as he loses games to teams with much less talent and hasn't upset anyone.
Les Miles beat much more talented Oklahoma teams twice. Has Saban done that? Who has Urban Meyer beated while being a prohibitive underdog since he has been at Florida?
Would Florida or Bama won with JJ or Lee the past two years?
Maximus, do you have an IQ of 161 like your buddy SFP claims to have? :rotflmao:
re: heard saban's name mentioned on Dallas sports radio today

Saban will retire at Bama imo.
re: Bill King on Crowton
Posted by Bert Lyons 716 on 12/18/09 at 9:48 am
Bill King is a Tennessee guy all the way. He is a radio talk show host, nothing more. He can't be specific because he doesn't know.
He was always the last one to report on transgrssions by Uthug players.
He was also very skeptical when LSU hired Saban doubting he was worth the money because he had no southern ties.

re: How great is it that Porter won't be coaching in bowl game?

Porter was a proxy for Les Miles. I think this is great!
Porter is emblematic of the Les Miles/Gary Crowton stale, tired, unproductive offense that we have seen so far this year. Porter controls all of the RB decisions (how much to play RS for instance) and some of the lame decisions we have seen from the clusterfrick Offense like not allowing talented players to see the field over non productive juniors and seniors.
Gonzales is now free to come in and influence the way our offense runs without Porter overriding him. As we all know, Porter was a loyal Les Miles solider and most likely a "Les yes man".
With KW/CS hurt, do we see Drayton Calhoun? (finally!) do we see Trindon running the sweep and option to the open side of the field? Do we see RS running the option, option pass, and Wildcat (not the simple VEER that some mistake for the true Wildcat). Do we see Ridley really cut loose and allowed to do more than dive plays?
I am starting to get a little more fired up about the bowl game now. With Gonzales now able to come in and influence Crowton without the interference of Porter/Miles, we might actually get to see what these athletes are truly capable of doing for once
How do you know such bull shite?
How was your coach and his staff?
Be specific. Damn flute player who knows things yet is not at practice. :banghead:

From a D-Line coach's point of view I am not sure of Brick yet. Hopefully within the next year I will be able to see him coach(practice) and hear him speak. But one thing I do know is that there is no one better than Pete Jenkins at coaching the D-Line! He is the man!

Errr talent, maybe.
Experience?
Charles Alexander in his 8,000th start for LSU
Rahim Alem senior
Al Woods senior
Nevis been playing since 07
We didn't have an experience issue at all.
Look at their backups. LSU usually rotates 8 DL during a game.
That said,Woods and Alem under achieved imo.

This is true, but where do you rank in their rivalry pecking order? 2nd for Ole Miss behind Miss State, 3rd for Auburn behind Bama and Georgia, and 3rd for Bama behind Auburn and Tennessee.
I like not having a huge rivalry game though. I've seen some posters say stuff like "I don't care if we go 1-11 as long as we beat ____", which is ridiculous.
The LSU/Ole Miss rivalry is old and there is plenty of hate. It's a better rivalry than Texas/Ark.
Another Arky fan who doesn't understand long standing SEC rivalries.

LSU offers Thibodaux's Greg Robinson
This past season was Robinson's 1st year really playing football. He is every bit of 6'6" 285 as a 16 year old junior. Could he play right now? The answer would be no but the upside is tremendous. He came out 2nd in state for the shot put last year with a sore back.
sounds like a good prospect with a lot of upside!

I don't think Clausen will be much in the NFL.What good defense did he face all year? I'm more impressed with Mallett than Clausen as of today.

You're a local joke. A pussy who talks football but was afraid to play. Until you can prove your claim of an IQ of 161,you should stay off the board.
Once again,I've offered to pay you to participate in a scrimmage and to pay for an IQ test, yet you go silent. All talk no action.
A post whore who hides behind the internet and condemns Miles when you're a gutless weasel yourself.
I bet you 5k that you won't score a 130 on a WAIS 111-R IQ test. You going to back your big talk up?
How many games have you won as a coach or player? How often do you watch guys take a leak in men's rooms?
Before you call someone a joke,go look in the mirror.

It's playing with inexperienced first yr QBs How did your team do with first yr QBs?
What SEC teams are winning with first yr QBs?
How about Michigan and USC?
Check their recruiting rankings Max.Guess Carroll and RR can't coach.
I'm sure your buddy,SFP with his 161 IQ, will help you.
