So Bama is out with a loss, LSU is in either either way. How retarded are you?

With what schedule exactly? How many top 25 teams has Bama or Clemson played?

If LSU beats Bama AT Tuscaloosa, Bama should not make the playoff ...
Environment will matter, but BDS simply isn't the intimidating, game affecting venue that other schools have for a variety of reasons.
You could argue the typical 3 pt line advantage for the home team, but out kicking woes immediately negate any such advantage from the onset. XPs not hitting an upright and punts 30+ yds are big wins.
Bama has some areas to shore up for sure, but they are getting better each week.
Both teams are clicking on all cylinders on offense. I think LSU finding some balance with the run game puts them ahead.
Will be a great game. They are clearly among the top 5 teams in CFB. If it is close either way AND both teams dominate the rest of their schedules after the game as they have so far, I think they both have a shot to get in the CFP among other 1 loss teams... conf championship matter, but the SEC top end teams are as heavy as ever.

Well they won't in that case. So do it and quit talking about it. Simple. Burrow should run up 60 on that freshman defense. So what's the problem.

And? Seems to me you don’t have the last 12 championships
Football is played EVERY YEAR. It doesn’t matter what you did last year, or 5 years ago, or 12 years ago.
This season is all that matters, and with that cupcake arse schedule you have...yeah, that dog don’t hunt.
Put up or shut up

You sound somewhat scared of Bama. Even with a big ol’ if...

Yeah, in the OP's scenario, Alabama's only Top25 win would likely be @Auburn. That's going to be pretty shaky ground compared to some other 1 loss teams.
With one exception: I'm not even sure Clemson fans think they should make it if they lose a game since their schedule has a good chance of boasting Zero Top25 teams.

Bama SOS is 28th according to Sagarin. LSU is 62nd. Both are 2-0 vs Sagarin top 30.
While Bama hasn’t played the Top teams LSU has we haven’t played as many “Horrendous” teams as LSU. Bama has only played 1 bad team(NMSU) the rest are at least average according to Sagarin rankings. LSU while having two great opponents has played 3 teams worse than 110.

LSU would have a better resume than Bama if either one has one loss. LSU with one loss would have wins vs Texas and UF. Bama with one loss would have wins over Duke and Tenn

“If LSU beats Bama AT Tuscaloosa, Bama should not make the playoff”
Whomever loses that game is going to need some help to get in as there’s a real strong chance at least 2 teams emerge undefeated between Clemson, Oklahoma, and OSU/PSU/Wisconsin and a not unrealistic chance to have 3 undefeated.
Georgia stubbing their toe made the Alabama-LSU loser a lot more likely to be the most attractive 1 loss team for a second sec team in

I think OU and OSU/PSU/Wisky stand a good chance of dropping a game. Clemson doesn’t have anyone formidable on their schedule, but they do have a history of still dropping one.
