He'd have about 70 more attempts at hammering a RB through Bama's D line in the exact same spot for less than 10 yards net over a 2-year span.

If LES was at LSU I expect you would have played and beaten UCF last year.

Miles was very very good in his day but the game had passed him by. He'd be ranked probably around #4 just on what he had done but in terms of how good he actually would be right now he'd be down at #7 or so.

Kirby Smart is a better coach than Mark Richt?

He's a better recruiter. So far he's accomplished about the same thing on the field. Won the SEC in year 2. I'm hoping he ends up better than Richt.

I don't think LSU fans were in charge of the hiring and firing of coaches

Irrelevant. You’re being obtuse. You people were creaming yourselves at the thought of firing Miles and hiring Jimbo.

Don’t make me link DALSU’s post history and the upvotes and fellatio that arse clown received.

ETA: and Random LSU Hero, too.

That's where Alleva started the shitstorm, stringing CLM along while courting Fisher, then watching Les take his farewell tour on the shoulders of his players after the aTm loss. Alleva folded to political pressure, the financial "optics" were too bad after F. King Alexander had perched on his soapbox threatening LSU couldn't field a team if the State cut funding. The whole operation went downhill from there with Les entering the '16 season a dead man walking.

It's the latest thing LSU fans don't want to admit. They were hoping and praying all along they would get Jimbo Fischer. He just didn't want LSU.

This is concise, yet spot on.

Orgeron is on a short leash. You don't fire a Les Miles type coach to bring in an Orgeron type coach. 9 wins a year wasn't enough to save a National Championship winning coach and it certainly won't be enough to keep O at the helm. Last year was a gimme year, this year he needs to show results.

This is the truest synopsis on this thread so far. Saddest thing is that it takes a Bammer to see it. Meanwhile over at TigerRant, half the fanbase is looking forward to watching YawYaw nosedive.

It truly is tough to be an LSU fan these days with all these frickers wanting to watch the world burn.

We're caught between a rock and a hard place. I never want to see LSU fall on hard times, but I'd rather rip the band-aid off than watch LSU slowly bleed out over the next 3 seasons (if it's clear O is not the guy).

Maybe not but there sure wer a lot of you people who were excited about the Special Ed hire. If that's not you, my apologies but damn, not everybody who's an LSU fan right now can say they weren't ever giddy about Special Ed taking over. Come on you people who did, time to 'fess up.
