I believe Kiffin could turn A&M into a dynasty. Right now, he's doing great things with little in comparison to his rivals.

A&M after paying Jimbo all this money and there's more money than ever in Power 5 football the next coach at A&M will get big money too.

If I'm A&M i would offer Kiffin whatever it takes to get him in there.

They could also try to poach Gary Patterson from Texas. Kiffin or Patterson would be scary good with A&M's talent.

If they are really such huge oil barrons it seems they could do this.

It wouldn’t work. Too flashy, he’d get them hyped again and inevitable A&M things would happen, they‘d turn on him, he‘d hate them back and it would end in a glorious dumpster fire.

Lol. $85 mil to push out Jimbo.
Another $85`to land a splash hire.
No way this happens for years.
Aggy will make him shuffle assistants until the buyout scales down to a digestible figure.

Why not Josh Heupel? He's an old Big 12 guy and would fit the culture there much better than at Hunting Orange U. Plus, according to all Hunting Orange U fans, Heupel is the GOAT.

You sound scared. Kiffin is flashy period. But, most coaches in Power 5 football save a handful are not good coaches. Seriously. Think about it. Outside of Saban, Kirby, Dabo (and he's declining with his offense), Ryan Day, Lincoln Riley, and Kiffin there's a drop off after these guys. Kiffin is what Jimbo was thought to be and college football can't ignore it anymore once Power 5 jobs start opening back up.

I don't believe this. Power 5 college football is now minor league pro football. With all the money in SEC and Power 5 football I think Jimbo's days are numbered.

That move would make sense for Joey Freshwater. College Station is fertile hunting grounds since all the dudes are preoccupied with each other.

No reason to be scared of something that will never happen. I’m not saying Kiffin isn’t a good coach (though he’s definitely not in the tier of coaches you listed). I’m saying he and A&M will inevitably clash because the expectations he will bring won’t be possible to accomplish. Basically it will be Jimbo 2.0.

They need Mark Stoops or Gary Patterson, as said earlier in the thread.

Kiffin would scare me at A&M. If he could get a good d coordinator there then they would be a problem.
