If Harbaugh stays at Michigan he is in a position to go on a dominating run

He already owns Ohio St
Saban is gone from Bama

Michigan could be looking at a few titles if Harbaugh stops flirting with the NFL

he did it with a bunch of 4th and 5th year players who are cycling out.

there are a lot of programs sitting prettier at the moment, i'd love to run into them next year.

Yep, much like Bama did he’d have a nice run then time to reload for the next run. But year in and year out? No.

On offense:

must replace its starting quarterback, running back, top two wide receivers and top six offensive linemen.

He got lucky UGA lost in the SEC championship game. Michigan would have had to beat UT which they probably would have but UGA would have won by 10+ over them in the championship. With Saban gone you're probably looking at UGA being the favorite to win the SEC for the next 10 years so not sure HArbaugh would be able to avoid them.

Remember what UGA did to Harbaugh and Michigan in the semi final in 2021? It was even worse than that lopsided score indicated. If Michigan ever qualifies for the playoffs again they will never win another Natty. Certainly not if they have to play UGA.

Not convinced he'd beat Georgia very often. Hell, he might not beat them at all. He barely beat Bama, and let's be honest, this was far from Saban's best team.

The joke is on everyone is Kelly leaves because we’ll just hire Dennis Allen to coach both teams into mediocrity. Yeah!

That wasn’t the same Michigan team, not saying Georgia couldn’t have won this year but this Michigan team had a lot of past eligible players due to Covid playing. There’s a reason why most national title teams from Alabama, Georgia and LSU won. They all had mature players who stuck around for 4 years or more. Those days are over though I believe. I thought NIL would keep more kids staying longer and it may with the late round kids but kids in the first 2-3 rounds are still gonna leave.

And he will be leaving.

The clauses in his contract are not up for discussion as it pertains to the Ncaa

He would have been fired from most SEC schools by now. Props to Mich for sticking with him, but meh.

Think there will be a noticeable drop next year. This year they were loaded with upperclassmen.

Won’t shock me to see Michigan lose 3 next year and Ohio state win the Big and make the playoff.

He's 3-5 against Ohio St.
OSU is going to be really good next year with everyone coming back
Michigan is losing almost everyone who has contributed the last 2-3 years. They are probably a 3+ loss team next year

What Saban did at Bama will likely never be duplicated because of NIL and unlimited transfers. Glad Bama had such a great run before college football was ruined.

Saban has stopped one guy from going on a dominating run. It's not Harbaugh.
