Who wins? I think there's more talent but a lot less discipline at LSU. I know Saban would at least have gotten a field goal

More talent may be a stretch, Bama's defense is the stuff of legends

more talent based on? recruiting averages over the last few years favor Bama and it's like Bama just lost 4 players in the 1st round of the draft and still won the NC. Talent is practically even, though it may be spread differently.

If Saban coached LSU, would he have pulled JJ for Lee?

Like other poster stated, tough question. I agree LSU has a little more talent. Without trying to sound biased here, Saban and his staff seem to get a little more out of our players, and I have to think he would do the same there. Each coach has their positives, and if we didn't have Saban,I'd take Les over anyone we've had since Stallings retired.

IMO, Bama is better at 3 positions, QB, RB, and LB. LSU has better athletes. You say draft, but forgetting that a lot of LSU's playmakers are underclassmen. Athlete's will win you a lot of games, but it will only go so far with no discipline and coaching

How about who wins a 3rd game? CLM was badly out coached in game 2 but historically is a better bowl game coach than CNS

but in our d LB is four positions, and all four of ours are better than yours.

also, our OL is better too

Bama and LSU pretty equal on talent level, but Bama's talent is juniors and seniors while LSU's is sophomore's and freshman for the most part.

If the staff was switched, yes LSU would've won, as a matter of fact, with the way Miles allows things to go down, I don't even think 11/5's score would've been 9-6. Sabin is a better coach, a lot of LSU fans are just still butthurt that he left.

Where does this more talent come from? We had several sure fire first round picks on this team. I credit our coaching staff for a good game plan and developing talent, but our recruiting classes have been ranked higher and most of our players are projected to go higher in drafts.

dude recruiting class ranks matter but not that much. If so Texas would be in the national title if recruiting ranks were BCS ranks
