Arkansas gets CBS and the SEC network same as Alabama. LSU/Arkansas was played on CBS the day before the Iron Bowl.
Fact is Alabama BEAT Arkansas so it never mattered. I think we're past the point of putting someone in the game on tradition.

people outside the Southeast voted Alabama #2 when given the choice of 11-1 Bama, 11-1 Stanford, 11-1 OSU and 11-1 Boise. Including Stanford and Boise's coach, and the coach of Air Force (Colorado) voted OSU as low as #5. So your point that the South vote is what carried Bama is not entirely true.

i'm just saying, Julio was this big 220 lb WR, and Ark had these speedy guys. Except by the tale of the tape Julio was a good bit faster. Maybe that shite is part of the reason Ark hasn't been Bama since 06'

Sec has the best team in Kentucky. Vandy could play with either Duke and UNC, because they can shoot. You never count out a team that can score in basketball. Same for Florida, if they're hitting their 3s.

Let's see, the Rocket 8 was pretty good. Alabama had 3 teams under CM Newton that were like 24-2 or something. Wimp won a shite load of SEC tournaments. The 2002 team won the SEC out right. That Elite 8 team wasn't close
