Why are you putting a bunch of words in quotations when they do not belong? The reality is, no one has any foundation to talk trash, since none of us have any impact on the success or failures of our favorite teams. I have been to opposing stadiums/arenas, and Tennessee fans are the worst, no offense. They just chant "F*** (insert team)". Even Florida fans are more civilized.

I first joined about a month after you. I do not recall either of these stipulations in late 2006. Am I wrong or just getting too old and forgetful, although it is just as likely to be both.

Deep down, Tennessee fans know their football program is dead and just as irrelevant in the modern era as Kentucky football at this point. They like to direct their trash talk to UK, Vandy, Arkansas, and so on because it’s all they have. They like to talk about being in the “Big 6”, but in reality, they got replaced by multiple teams long ago. They are now closer to the bottom 6. Tennessee is basically a hillbilly version of South Carolina. No real upside and just hoping they don’t fall flat on their face again.

Yet TN has a more recent playoff appearances than Auburn and Florida as well as more top 10 finishes over the last 5 years than Auburn, Florida, and LSU of them combined. The only dead program in the SEC is Kentucky basketball

All meaningless drivel. Auburn and Florida aren’t on here trying to pump themselves up and spewing garbage all the time. They know they’ve been down and act accordingly. Both programs have still have done more in the last 25 years to sit down and take a healthy dump on Tennessee. It’s also rather humorous you would even bring up LSU, like you are even in same realm of a program.
And if UK basketball continues on the same path for the next 15 years, they would be in the same spot Tennessee football is in today…except with 6 more national titles in their history.
