Most of the SEC states have special traits, the weather mostly is better than up north.

From Louisiana and some special places and traditions, been to Georgia and great place, Florida is my favorite and Arkansas/Missouri area is awesome.

Alabama is a great state

Sorry not to leave out the Carolina states, Kentucky and Tenn but never visited.

The moral of the post is

If you don't like where you have been then you won't like where you are going.

I live in that paradise known as South Florida. Specifically, Fort Lauderdale - "Venice of America". You can have it. I'd rather live in Georgia OR Louisiana. I've been here 49 years and I'm a few years from moving back to anywhere in New England - cold winters and all. To each his own.

I'd live in GA

I don’t know, while I love Louisiana and have a special place in my heart for it, Georgia is so much prettier. I can always go back to the Boot get my fix and leave.

Summers are disgusting in Louisiana

I would, too, but in fairness Louisiana is called the "Sportsman's Paradise". Good fishing and good southern atmosphere. There are a lot of states worse in the SEC than Georgia and Louisiana.

For that matter, I like South Carolina and Tennessee. Florida is too hot, though.
