Nick Saban, speaking Thursday evening during his weekly radio show:

“We can’t control what other people do. We can’t control the schedule. We can control what we do. So whoever we play, whenever we play, we’re gonna be ready to go.”

“Complacency on the field leads to a blatant disregard for doing things right."

The Tide will practice again Saturday instead of playing a game.

That session will be focused on Kentucky.

Maybe we put up a fight and win one for the Gipper (Schlarman)?

That's all I've got. Sorry, guys.

You’re telling me our offense averaging around 10 points per game doesn’t intimidate you? That’s shocking.

Just our luck we always seem to get everyone after a week off. Mizzou, Georgia and now Bama.

Tide just needs to play second team and save their starters.

Guess which team will get the Covid next?

Ok, it won't be Kentucky because at least they're not pussies.

But I’m sure he doesn’t mean us. No way he means us. Do you think he means us?

Lube for our players...

Lots of lube.

I'm going to very optimistically say we hold Bama to their season low in points.

Jokes on you boys Wasp! We haven't shown the offense all season just so Saban has nothing to scout!

I’m thinking it’s closer than expected. Offense may have lost rhythm after 3 weeks without a game. Kentucky has a phenomenal defense.

I almost wish this game was this weekend. I'm not going to be naïve and say we'd win the game but I guarantee it would be a war. Stack the box if you want and know we won't throw a pass. I can guarandamntee that no defensive line in America will be able to do anything with our O Line, in particular Drake Jackson and Landon Young. Sure the Bama talent would likely give them the final victory, but this offensive line which many say is one of, if not the best in America will be playing with an extra something this season. I know these kids are sad as hell over their mentor and hero passing, but I don't see them half assing. They will lay it on the line in his memory.

How is Nicky going to get around the weekly hour limit on practices? Asking for a friend...
