I will start watching the Gators again

When my list of demands is met.
1) Every player stands and respects the flag for the national anthem.
2) Eliminate the targeting rule
3) Change the apparel they wear to a company that makes their gear in the USA
Until then I am not spending a penny or watching anything to do with my alma mater. Also, can someone point me toward the nearest hunting/fishing grounds? I'm trading in my prius.

I've not seen this happening in College. I'd hope if it happened in BHG they would be booed off the field.

Wait, I'm confused.
Why is it when one segment of our population doesn't like something or wants it to change we all need to be open and try to understand their feelings even though we dont understand them but when someone from a different segment makes their concerns known, frick them?

First off, I'm pretty sure that bigD was making more of a joke than anything else
Second off, If someone posted that they were not watching college football because of racism or something similar to the opposite of what the OP was mentioning. I would post the same thing.
Its less about the actual reasons and more about trying to make a threat regarding watching or spending money on CFB that I think is silly.
In other words, if an Ole Miss fan said they were not watching their team until the state flag was changed. I would laugh as well.

A fan making a claim about watching or spending money on college sports isn't the same as a player saying he won't play.
I support both their rights to make that choice and both can be for silly or justified reasons.
You are reading way too much into this. I'm mocking the idea that anyone should care about what a random fan thinks and wants done to fix something so that he is willing to watch again. It doesn't matter what side the person is on to me.

CFB teams are in locker rooms for the anthem, which was the case for the NFL until the military paid them to change it in 2009

We don't have the players on the field during the national anthem..it's performed by the band prior to the players coming out of the tunnel...or is this just sarcasm?
