We would destroy Bama in the SEC championship game. A&M is a tougher matchup for us.

Texas’ offense has had their struggles but I didn’t expect Texas to have the best defense in the country coming in (which they are)
That will keep them in the hunt. Offense will hopefully continue to improve and see Quinn get hot at the right time

Best defense based of shutting down that elite offense they played…….last….season? What did kalen put up 30 at least I think

It’s true Pennix had a good game. Texas had a below average pass defense last season too. Not this year though
Milroe is nowhere near as good of a passer as Pennix

ABC team acted as if that 10 point win over Arky was a program defining victory for the horns.

His 6th year QB played the game of his life. Penix’s ball placement in that game was absurd.
That being said, Deboer almost coached himself out of that game.

All kidding aside Quinn worries me. He sucks at the deep ball and he can’t stretch the field. He has to do better for them to make a run

He’s been pretty decent with the deep ball the past 2 games. He over threw a couple today, but 2 of the 3 he shouldn’t have even thrown.
But correct, he is not an elite deep ball thrower.

And you guys. But you're right, Vandy is better than Arkansas.

With Milroe ? I doubt it

Quinn has regressed every year. He shows flashes with great throws but I agree. This is not the #3 team in the country.
My hopes for this year is get into the playoffs and don't get blown out so we can hold onto a good recruiting class, then prepare for next year with Arch.

Fortunately for Texas - no one looks particularly good this season. May just end up team with talented depth getting hot in the playoffs to be honest.
No one looks worlds better than anyone

His rating is the highest it’s been in his college career. His decision making is much better than previous years.

Arch will have a brand new oline. He'll need his wheels.

I generally agree. He still makes bonehead throws though. Like the one for a huge loss today in the flat when he should have just put it over everyone's head.
But no question he has become smarter under Sark's tutelage.

In fairness on that play he didn’t have time to throw an elevated ball
Tough play.

This is about the sum of it. Instead of "good", I'll say no one looks particularly consistent... but we both mean the same thing I'm sure.

So what you're saying is the SEC isn't some incredible guantlet and only has 2-3 good teams like every other conference. Got it.
Oh yeah, just remembered that we've always known this.
