All SEC fan should be pissed at Ole Miss coaching allowing FSU receivers to run wide open all night by never adjusting and never trusting their freshman to play real football. Give them a chance.

What Ole Miss did last night:

When you had the new FSU QB in your hands, when you could have made a statement, when you could have ended the ACC facade, you created Jameis Winston #2 by letting receivers run wide open all night long. I could have completed those passes. Instead, you cemented confidence in Francios and now he will run roughshod over the ACC and we will have to deal with this crap for 4 more years.

Thank you Ole Miss, for nothing.

They didn't let Cook crack 100 on 23 carries on a night when the defense was on the field for way too many snaps. I don't imagine Cook will have many games in double digits this year.

Thats great, but they still gave up 160+ yards on the ground and 4 ypc last night. Cook had 91 yards and averaged 4.0 ypc and the other RB averaged 6.6 ypc.

There is no defensive depth at all and the secondary is weak. Front 7 is really good though. Gotta find a way to not have them on the field all game.

They lost last night because the other coaching staff simply out-coached them and made adjustments. When those adjustments were made

People keep harping this but never say exactly what they were. Such a cliche.

From my perspective, FSU managed to snap the ball without false-starting every play so that was a plus. They also managed to get more pressure on Kelly and I'm not sure why that changed. Ole Miss pressured Francois all night even when they were scoring 30 straight points but not constantly being in 1st and long because of stupid penalties helped FSU sustain drives more than anything.

Their secondary, Oline and running game are awful.

You mean the RB who was the QB?

No matter how good he is, I just can't fathom having chad kelly as my QB... That dude is such a ginormous tool

Yes. Didn't look at name just saw ypc.

Still, giving up 160 yards rushing isn't going to win you very many games in this league. Giving up that amount would put a team ranked around 8th or 9th in the SEC.

If they face FSU's rushing attack every week, I would be worried about their rush defense. They've got some issues, obviously. But they played a pretty good game against the legit #2 team in the country in what was, for all intensive porpoises, a road game. Yeah, it's a "moral victory." But I saw a lot that will make them a dangerous team again this year. I don't expect most Arky fans to be honest about it.

Pass defense will be a huge liability. The offensive line as of right now will get Kelly killed

OL and secondary are weaknesses, but they will challenge for the West sure. I was very impressed.

They will face rushing attacks all season long in the SEC that have more than one back. LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, etc.

Yes they have some issues...They gave up nearly 600 yards last night and only managed 67 rushing yards. In this league, that is not going to win very many games.

They'll only be ranked this week because of how fraudulently ranked they were before last week.

List of Teams they will face who have as good a running back as Cook:

LSU

To me, they look like the same type of team they were last year. Sort of like a three point shooting team in basketball. If the offense gets hot, all bets are off.

This right here. Fold Miss is like most other teams that have to have up tempo to be good. When things go well, they build on momentum. But when things start to go south, they don't have the ability to just buckle down and sustain a long drive to turn things back in their favor.
Also they rely on the QB to be almost perfect. That's not going to happen every week.
