I too like to hold up Eastern Illinois and Clemson as similar opponents upon which to base my judgement

Carolina is about to get hands put on them in a bad way. As will the majority of teams UGA plays this season.

Honestly? I don't think Justyn Ross was healthy. Their receivers were slow and could not get open making the QB hold on to the ball way too long. We had a DB back there that was a walk on. I hadn't even heard of the kid....but he did very well considering.
It was more a combination of their receivers and a weak, inexperienced OLine that killed them. Just my opinion from what I saw.

That was his first start. He will get better. His OL let him down. If you have a championship level OL they should be able to give him time in at least 50% of his pass attempts. They failed miserably.

My thinking, too. he had no snap to his routes and just looked slow. He's had a tough time of it. I hope he can come out of his problems going forward.

I never said that they wouldn't. I simply said I believe South Carolina will score at least 17 points on Georgia. We will find out.
