I love the way our team is playing, but I still have anxiety about us pulling a South Carolina from a couple of years ago.

Auburn's schedule wasn't great but it was better than South Carolina's from that year. Pearl is an RPI wizard. He has been since his UT days.

Actually, just two.
So, Auburn and Florida are co-best SEC basketball programs, and A&M is the worst SEC basketball program.

Florida 3-0
Auburn 2-0

Great thing about Auburn's OOC is that road wins against UAB, MTSU, and Murray State will look very good once those teams run through their leagues which they will. Bad luck that UCONN sucks but as long as AU is 9-7 in conference they will get in.

9-7 the rest of the way? Because SEC teams play 18 conference games.
I think Auburn is in at 10-8, maybe 9-9 depending on the wins and losses.

Not even through 20% of the conference schedule and folks are already making plans. Everyone will turn on their programs at least once or twice between now and the end of the conference tourney. Short memories around here.

Program would imply a historical context, not just a single season. Had you said team, then maybe I'd agree.
You aren't close to the best program.
Kentucky, Florida, Arky, and LSU are the four best overall basketball programs. Auburn is not remotely close to those four programs.

Your team has reached it peak. Auburn will lose 9 of your next 16. You need an inside game as the season progress y’all don’t have one. Heck Arkansas inside game ain’t that good right now. Live by the three die by the three. Post back when the SEC tournament start. If y’all haven’t lost ten games I will declare Auburn the great school ever.
