Per 247Sports.......

People have laughed at the idea of FSU holding a "boycott" of the Orange Bowl. Don't laugh...I think they're doing it, albeit in another manner.

Florida State is expected to be without players responsible for the following (mindboggling):

OFFENSE

-- 95.6% of their completed passes on the year (239-of-250 completions)

-- 93.6% of their attempted passes on the year (380-of-406 attempts)

-- 96.8% of their passing yards (3,265 of 3,372 passing yards)

-- 100% of their passing touchdowns (25 of 25 passing touchdowns)

-- 100% of their interceptions thrown (2 of 2 interceptions)

-- 69.6% of their rushing attempts (304 of 437 rushing attempts)

-- 67.7% of their rushing yards (1,380 of 2039 rushing yards)

-- 78.1% of their rushing touchdowns (25 of 32 rushing touchdowns)

-- 68.0% of their receptions (170 of 250 receptions)

-- 67.0% of their receiving yards (2,260 of 3,372 receiving yards)

-- 72.0% of their receiving touchdowns (18 of 25 receiving touchdowns)

-- 66.4% of their all-purpose yards (4,056 of 6,114 all-purpose yards)

-- 85.8% of their total offense (4,645 of 5,411 total offensive yards)

DEFENSE

-- 20.5% of their total tackles (171 of 835 tackles)

-- 26.0% of their tackles for loss (25 of 96 tackles for loss)

-- 27.8% of their sacks (12.5 of 45 sacks)

-- 28.3% of quarterback hurries (13 of 46 quarterback hurries)

-- 23.1% of forced fumbles (3 of 13 forced fumbles)

-- 28.6% of their fumble recoveries (2 of 7 fumble recoveries)

-- 33.3% of their fumble returns (1 of 3 fumble returns)

-- 0% of their fumble returns for touchdown (0 of 1 fumble returns for touchdowns)

-- 10% of their interceptions responsible for (1 of 10 interceptions)

-- 0% of their interceptions returns for touchdowns (0 of 1 interception returns for touchdowns)

SPECIAL TEAMS

-- 0% of their field goal kicks made (0 of 18 field goals made)

-- 0% of their extra-points made (0 of 58 extra points made)

-- 100% of blocked kicks (2 of 2 blocked kicks)

-- 0% of their punting yards (0 of 2,758 of punting yards)

-- 0% of kickoff yards (0 of 5,622 kickoff yards)

-- 92.6% of their punt returns (25 of 27 punt returns)

-- 100% of their punt return yards (300 of 298 total)

-- 38.5% of their kick returns (5 of 13 kick returns)

-- 32.3% of their kick return yards (116 of 352 kick return yards)

-- 0% of their kick return touchdowns (0 of 1 kick return touchdowns)

TEAM TOTAL

-- 70.5% of their total touchdowns scored on the season (43 of 61 total touchdowns)

That is going to be such a terrible game for competitiveness.

If UGA loses this board will have an all-time month.

They could take a knee every play.

They could punt on every 1st down they receive.

They could take a safety every time they get the ball.

Is anyone but Georgia fans planning to watch that game? Talk about anticlimactic!

So they're all tantrum throwing pussy boys. I see.

What we're seeing with all this, is that FSU is no where close to a team with a championship mentality.

Can anyone blame they? Why reward the system that screwed them over? The school gets the same payout with or without those guys so it doesn’t hurt the school but does screw over the system.

I can’t imagine any talented offensive player wants to go to that mess of a team without Norvel snagging a top tier QB out if the portal. They shot their load for this year and didn’t have a QB worth anything as a back-up.

I am just happy FSU is allowing Georgia the chance to win without giving Georgia the proof they seek that they are better and was left out of the playoff.

Orange bowl could call the ACC and tell them that if the complete FSU team doesn’t show up to play no money will be paid.
Claim breach of contract.

Suit yourself but it’s gonna be a long 8 months before we play Clemson so I’ll watch no matter who is playing.

Easy, Sparky. I am just saying it would be hilarious. UGA is probably going to win 222-0.

If all of the projected opt outs happen, UGA will be sitting their starters before the half because this is going to be a huge blowout.

I kind of agree with some other posters that said FSU is sitting players because that gives them a built in excuse for getting destroyed.
