Orange bowl could call the ACC and tell them that if the complete FSU team doesn’t show up to play no money will be paid. Claim breach of contract.

Only if FSU doesn’t field a team. The contract is with the school not the players.

Because I'm a fan of the team you idiot. I would watch them play against anyone regardless of the circumstances.

You officially have zero right to call yourself a "fan" (fanatic) if you willingly choose not to watch the game as some sort of self righteous protest.

WG....are you a "fan" (fanatic) of the Dawgs? Hmmmmm?

#1 -- Did you go to school @UGA? Nope. You wouldn't have been accepted.

#2 -- Did you graduate from UGA? Nope. You have to be accepted first (you probably went to DeKalb Junior College, amiright???).

#3 -- Have you ever contributed moolah to the UGAA? Probably not.

#4 -- Have you ever been a season-ticket holder of the football program? Probably not since you must contribute a minimum amount to qualify (working at Pizza Hut ain't gonna help).

#5 -- If #'s 1-4 are answered "yes", then.....WHY AREN'T YOU IN MIAMI TO ATTEND THE GAME IN PERSON IF YOU ARE SUCH A "FANATIC" OF THE BULLDOGS? Hmmmmmmm????

You wave your red pom-poms every Saturday from your squeeze-me recliner and call yourself a "fanatic" of the Dawgs.

Looks like you're just a fake....a fake fan. A rah-rah-rah FAKE FAN.

Because I went to the Orange Bowl 2 years ago and don't feel like the time and money to go to Miami this year is wroth it, especially since I have a 3 month old at home.

Also not sure where in the handbook it says that you aren't a fan if you don't go to every game. Buuuut I'm willing to wager a fair amount that despite you being double my age, I've attended more of them in my life than you have. I was giving you grief not for not attending the game, but for intentionally not even watching it (and bragging about it?)

It's funny that in your first rambling post to me in here you accused me of making things up without merit, then you go and not only do the same thing, but do it in wildly incorrect fashion. Like it would almost be impossible to be more wrong in this post than you currently are.

I can’t imagine any talented offensive player wants to go to that mess of a team without Norvel snagging a top tier QB out if the portal. They shot their load for this year and didn’t have a QB worth anything as a back-up.

Bowl games outside of the playoff don't mean shite. Get used to it. The only way to change this is to pay the players more money.

I don't agree with this sentiment; the only thing that's changed is our ESPN media overlords telling us they don't mean anything. A fan's (and player for that matter) perceived value of a bowl game is up to them to deem how important it is, and they let the media make taht decision for them. Think about this:

-In the real old days they crowned a champion BEFORE the bowls even began, yet a lot of bowls still meant a great deal even thogh they were on paper "meaningless".
-In the kinda old days you had 2 or 3 bowl games that featured teams that might get named champion while the rest were "meaningless", yet they still meant a great deal
-In the BCS era you had 1 single bowl game featuring 2 teams that were playing for the title while the rest were "meaningless", yet they still meant a great deal
-Now in the playoff era you have 2 games featuring 4 teams where 1 will be champion...yet NOW all the rest actually ARE meaningless? What logical sense does that make? What changed in the last 10 years to make the non-title game bowls still important but now they aren't? The only thing that's changed is the media forcing down our thorats how nothing else matters, and then the national viewership as a whole just accepting it.

I don't believe you graduated from UGA because a long time back I asked you that question and you refused to answer, as I recall. It DEFINITELY was not in the positive. Therefore, I believe you're lying about this.

If you're a grad, name the year, give the name of your degree and give me the names of a couple of your profs you studied under.

I don't watch ESPN or listen to ESPN radio and I don't read ESPN articles, except for live sports or stories directly about UGA. Is ESPN really telling people that the bowl games are meaningless? Seems like a bad business model.

Jetdawg, I can vouch for WG. He's telling the truth. And he could have gone a lot harder into you with his response; he withheld quite a bit.

Also, good luck getting on the UGA board. WG is the gatekeeper.

Jetdawg- I vaguely recall the curricula vitae you posted here wherein you stated that you attended UGA's Grady College of Journalism briefly, but never graduated from UGA. You graduated from somewhere else.

sounds strange. I'd love if you could link the post in question.

I'm not giving you any information your geriatric arse could use to look me up. You're welcome to go to the C/O 2009 plaque in the tate plaza (it's on the little ramp area near where the radio station sets up on gamedays) if you want. My name is on there.

Not giving you any major courses. Weirdo.

I had a turfgrass class with keith karnok. Geology with doug crowe. Some PE class with Ashley Atherton who was smoking hot, she couldn't' have been older than 25. Matt STafford was in that class (this was spring 2006) briefly but dropped out. Donald Newt intro to philosophy. Entomology with this old school guy that alwasy showed gary larson comics.

id' be happy to let him on, simply because I think Jefferson would have a field day with him and I'd love to watch.

But despite jet's claims of not being let on, he still has not actually put in a request yet. I can't approve his access if he doesn't request..

I've been thinking about this the last few seconds after I hit submit on my last post. If I can prove to you for sure that I graduated from UGA what would that be worth to you?

I also had geology with Dr Crowe. I hated him. He was a self-absorbed a-hole that fancied himself the Indiana Jones of UGA because he got to take a ride in ALVIN.

Why can't he vouch for himself? I don't believe you, either. You two are full of it.

Ohhhhhh, talk about holding back. I've been absolutely MERCIFUL to him (and you) on this board. As far as the UGA board, who cares if he's the gatekeeper. I couldn't care less about joining it. If it's full of your imbecilic relatives, leave me out.

We got extra credit in that class (a full letter grade) if you went on a field trip to Jekyll. There were abotu a dozen of us that piled into 2 white UGA school vans and drove down. I don't remember anythign geology related but most of the group drank and smoked every night we were down there and stayed in those little 4H dorms. Fun times.

He's one of those love/hate professors. A guy I knew from high school was his TA and absolutely had a man-crush on him. He idolized Crowe.
