Because I'm a fan of the team you idiot. I would watch them play against anyone regardless of the circumstances.

You officially have zero right to call yourself a "fan" (fanatic) if you willingly choose not to watch the game as some sort of self righteous protest.

I think Georgia wins going away but all of FSU's opt outs does put a little potential pressure on them. If they somehow lose the game they'll never hear the end of it.

I doubt it though, I believe Georgia would beat FSU if both teams were at full strength really

If they are this is only hurting the program brand, sorry but not sure how this is helping FSU make a point?

Who said anyone wasn't watching the game as some sort of "self righteous protest"?

You're the idiot...you can't even read a single sentence and interpret it properly. You thrive on misassumptions.

I'll tell you what I'll be doing.

While you're laying your flat (and fat) ponderosa down into a squeeze-me recliner downing your usual 20 bags of chips followed by a case of RC Cola, I'll be toning and refining my beautifully bronzed body at the gym.

When I'm finished, I'm taking my wife to DISNEYLAND and we're gonna be swingin' out on the Teacups and partying like it was back in 1999!!!!

Then, I'm bringing her home and making such passionate love to her all night long to last right on through New Year's Day!!

I doubt your 2-inch toolmaker would be up to the task.

Enjoy the game...don't waddle too much in the recliner as you cheer on the Dawgs to victory!

I think we can all agree that FSU has absolutely no pride whatsoever.

If you're a conference who's considering adding FSU to your conference; do you really want a program that acts so petty?

Judging by these numbers, Georgia better beat FSU like they stole something.

Orange bowl could call the ACC and tell them that if the complete FSU team doesn’t show up to play no money will be paid.
Claim breach of contract.

I'm a UGA grad & fan and I will NOT be watching the game.

That seems a little extreme. Unless your wife has you roped into something else.
We don’t get to see them play again for 9 more months.

Boycott would be stupid. I think they see the UGA train coming and they're jumping off the tracks.

Even UCF went out and played their best and beat Auburn to finish an undefeated season in 2017.

If FSU somehow pulled off a win and beat a 1 loss UGA team they would have been the darling of CFB and probably even received 1st place votes in the polls. Bailing on the game looks bad for them and Norvell.

I could only see this sort of thing happening after several other developments like the athletes becoming paid employees for the educational institution or associated 503c. They'd argue that the bowl invited your team with the anticipation that the appearance would include participation from non-injured talent on your roster. It would also be far easier to allow ESPN to just pay for play if amateurism was tossed out. You can't just make these young men play in an exhibition game that lines someone else's pockets without also providing incentives.

In that reality, the number of bowl games goes down dramatically. Honestly, probably a good thing with 5-7 teams making bowls regularly now.

what's even funnier is that the game is on the 30th, so apparently this self-proclaimed senior citizen will be making "passionate love" for 2 days straight and into a 3rd.

Don't lay an egg Georgia. If this was a regular season or playoff game I would take Georgia all day and twice on Sundays but bowl games are really weird.
