But if you HONESTLY think alabama played down to LSU or slept walked through the game, then you have to be the stupidest person I think I’ve ever seen. If you think Nick Saban takes LSU lightly, I don’t know what to tell you. Other than maybe the fact that he builds his teams to be able to beat LSU. I don’t know what the future holds, but if LSU keeps moving the way it’s moving then LSU has a very bright future ahead. Those teams I saw last night were pretty equal. The main two differences were field position and QB play. There’s a few plays LSU missed on offense and a few plays Alabam escaped out of on offense that swung the game. Needless to say both teams played one hell of a game that was fun to watch. Hope those Bama players get well soon and I wish Bama the best for the rest of their season. Geaux Tigers can’t wait to see what the future of this season and next season hold.

There were a lot of plays that Alabama missed on offense as well.

Yep. You got us. The offensive and defensive strategies are built to beat LSU and we ignore the rest of the SEC including our rivals.

I think a lot of teams can be "equal" to Alabama when they bring their lunch to the table. They just gotta be ready for 60 minutes of ball. Alabama isn't perfect and certainly aren't unbeatable, but they are ready to handle everything you throw at them. Every once in a blue moon, it is too much......Every once in a blue moon...

Actually its just the opposite and its what Les Miles did and apparently so does Coach O. You guys spend your whole program all year around trying to beat us. That's why you lose to shitty teams every season and play us tough. Miles even said once he thinks about beating Bama the entire off season. Its cajun crazy and I guarantee you Saban doesn't do that in reverse.

LSU is really good and, with Coach O, will be a force for years to come.

I know it's what you want to hear, and I tried to type it with a straight face.

I think Bama sucked and proved they're not as good as the media and their fans say they are. Although, they do a good job sliding the pipe down every game commentators throat... because those guys just open and swallow.

But honestly, you can't and will not get anything remotely close to a fair answer from a gump fan. Lose by 14... "we let off the gas." Lose by les... "we just giving players rest for the big games."

No real LSU fan expected to win, but a real fan will always pull for them to win. Sure, State kicked our arse and Troy was on O for fricking with Canada's offense, but things are improving for the Tigers and if they finish with a 10 wins season... then if nothing else, you have to respect that.

Explain how losing to Troy and getting blown out by Miss State and having Bama take a knee on your 2 yard line to end the game is "moving in the right direction"?

Tell me again how O is any different than Miles? You beat a shitty Florida team, a good Auburn team, and a shitty Ole Miss team before the typical close-but-not-really game with Alabama.

I did enjoy that line. Why would Saban build his teams to beat the 3rd or 4th best team in the division?

Bama was only marinally better at almost every position except for QB and punter, but those turned out to be a huge advantage in that game.

I agree with your assessment of the game against State. But after Troy, you have averaged 23 points a game against two terrible defenses (UF and Ole Miss), one good defense (Auburn), and one great defense (daddy). Looks like Canada's offense is taking you to new heights!

Saban building his teams based on beating LSU is nothing more than rant folklore.
