re: Let’s get past Lane and Lanning.

Am I the only one high on Alex Golesh? I think you go after Lane first, maybe someone like Clark Lea second, and worst case go after Golesh. All have pros and cons. The less you spend on a coach more you can spend on surrounding staff and NIL but we know by now the main guy is the most important piece of the puzzle.
re: That reverse Thomas to Anderson pass was a TD if Thomas makes a better pass

I was expecting a play like that before the game but I figured they’d use Ju’Juan Johnson to do it.

I’ve had this bookmarked all week. Seems appropriate after that ending. Jay’s coaching with Jared’s extra work put in was the difference maker. Geaux Tigers!!

I have a post on the SEC rant titled “If Saban retired this year.” I tried posting on it to refresh it but it didn’t. Go read it for some great laughs.

I got so much flack for this… it’s really looking like Saban was the brand. Lol

I thought Saban was “just one of the pieces.”

I think all three heisman winners should have statues side by side. Keep Billy in the middle, Burrow to one side passing (or doing his infamous ring me pose), and Jayden in tucking and running in his elusive gazelle like stance.

As I said, I’m not trying to troll. I’m genuinely curious. I don’t think he’s retiring for a few more years anyways. But you do have to remember he’s 72. Also, that’s a very arguable subject. Most of the time they play because they’re in the playoff, do you really think they’d still play and jeopardize their NFL chances for the belk bowl?

What are the chances he becomes the next AD for Bama? Or do you think he’d just fully retire?

I just thought it was an interesting topic to bring up. But I mean, no matter who you replace Nick with… it’s not Nick. I just feel like no one’s ever really brought this up since the transfer portal and NIL has come out.

Hypothetically, let’s say he wins the natty and decided to retire after this season. Regardless of who his replacement would be, how many kids do you think would transfer?
I’m not trying to troll but I feel like a lot of bama’s talent stems from other states and without Saban there I feel like a lot of kids especially with NIL and the portal now would transfer. Just curious what it would take to keep the majority of them there and the wheels on the wagon.

We’re so close, once we get the lead we can’t let off steam either. Gotta go full speed ahead until the trophy selection.

Yeah, this is fishy. I’ve voted more times than imaginable and it seems like we’re still somehow losing ground.

I haven’t been since it reopened and am going to be in Baton Rouge next weekend. How is it in general and is the fried cheese what it used to be?

I’ve voted at least 5 times a day. We shall overcome and put Jayden in the lead. Especially after he wins this weekend.
