As much as you need this to be true, it just isn't happening. No one cares about Petrino, except maybe for a laugh at his god-awful character.

You guys are such trolls, I don’t know how you can sit here and try to act like Petrino was a good hire. The fake faith kills me.

If LSU hired Petrino you would be singing another song. Petrino is a Rolls Royce level offensive mind. frick the off field stuff. The guy can coach any type of QB. Denbrock can't hold Petrino's headsets.

I guess you haven’t read all the “Petrino Threads” started by LSU.

Lots of fear out there! But I get the thought process… if we can beat you with a bunch of freshman and a shltty offense… WTF are is LSU going to do when we have a better offensive mind in place.

2008-Arkansas by 1
2009-LSU by 3
2010-Arkansas by 8
2011-LSU by... a lot

2017-LSU by 3 touchdowns (Louisville Capital One Bowl)

Am I missing something? None of these games equal petrino kicking the shite out of anything.

Also in 2011 both teams were still alive in the national championship race in the last week of the season and in 2017 LSU held his Heisman Trophy winning QB to 9 points and 0 touchdowns. Danny Etling had more total yards.

The question isn't how he coached 10 years ago, it's how he coached recently. Based on his record since his return to Louiville (best years in bold), he seems like the perfect fit to me. Congrats, Ags. We may sometimes be able to refer to you as Texas 8&4 again real soon.

Congrats on making your old, washed up coaching staff older and more washed up!

Heard they’re trying to bring in Rich Rod and Steve Spurrier as analyst.

sure, 10 years ago. Like many other coaches his age, the game has passed him by. Once upon a time Bo Pelini was an elite defensive coach, and we all saw how good he is now in 2020.

Petrino's passing offense since losing Lamar Jackson at Louisville have been

2018 (Louisville): 2533 YDs, 53% COMP, 10 TDs, 15 INTs
2019 (Missouri St): 2311 YDs, 56% COMP, 16 TDs, 14 INTs
2020 (Missouri St): 1685 YDs, 54% COMP, 5 TDs, 10 INTs ( )
2021 (Missouri St): 3399 YDS, 58% COMP, 22 TDs, 11 INTs
2022 (Missouri St): 2715 YDs, 61% COMP, 18 TDs, 6 INTs

2011 was a long time ago. Absent having a player like Lamar Jackson who wasn't exactly known for his passing acumen, he hasn't done anything overly impressive with the passing game in awhile, and many of his seasons have been downright bad in the passing game

to be alive during the last am championship, youd have to be what, 86ish?
and to actually remember it youd have to be born a few years earlier.

dang...you post well for someone your age.

Didn’t know that a Rolls Royce was ranked as the 65th best car, because that’s what his offense ranked just last year at the FCS level. I’d say that’s more of a Kia soul than a Rolls Royce.

Just after Les Miles kicked a field goal to go up 41-17 -- LSU had outscored Arkansas 41-3 since going down 14-0 -- CBS cameras caught Bobby Petrino pointing to Les Miles and sending a not so subtle message about what he thought of Miles's game management.

I'm no professional lipreader but Petrino appears to say,

"F--- you, motherf-----."
