Should have never happened. You didn’t win West and LSU beat you already. The 2nd go around the loser has the advantage. It was chicken shite.

My head fgeels like a watermellon today. Dranks mroer last night than i have in many years.

I think the LSU team that year was one of the best ever. Beat the shite out of every team they played.

I think it was an injustis to put Alabama againt thrm after LSU beat our arse at home.....but Bama was probably rhe only team that stood a chace againt them...and it was very much about motivation.

I loved watching LSU pound the shite out of several Conf champ teams that year.

I don't care if LSU claims best ever that year. Bama lost at home to them. Saban helped us get a re-do and all the motivation was on our side. We still couldn't put the ball in the endzone until it was so late and the game was esentially decided.

I think it's why they changed some shite so two SEC teams would not play each other in the bcs champ game like that year.

Two very good teams. LSU and Alabama that year.

I think the movie each team watched before the game was one of the deciding factors.

I also think the 2019 LSU team may be the best / most talented team to ever be assembled. Just look at the roster.

Oklahoma St lost to a team they shouldn't have. Alabama's only loss was in OT to LSU after missing multiple FG's that could have won the game.

The BCS only existed to do one thing; match number one with number two in a national championship game. LSU ended the season number one and Alabama number two. That's it. There was nothing in their charter that said "unless it is a rematch". It was an unusual year in that the 2 best teams in the country were in the same division of the same conference, and were separated only by a FG in OT. You will almost certainly get rematches in the 12 team CFP, so what?

still can’t believe lsu beat that same tide team in Tuscaloosa

I can't believe our kicker missed 5 field goals

I can

Looking back on both the Saban and Miles eras, there were a lot of things we felt Saban did better; but special teams wasn't one of them. He infamously ignored that part of the game.

Fast, shifty return guy: check, usually one of the scatbacks or receivers he brought in. Kickers and punters, they were usually walk-ons. And they pretty much did their own thing in practice, because he didn't put much time into it.

Unless I’m mistaken the coaches or sportswriters awarded Bama the title in 2011. The same as every Bama title claimed for the past 75 years. Typical JeaLSU behavior

And how did LSU shite the bed so bad in a mulligan game against a team they already beat in Bryant Denny?

That's irrelevant. Alabama got a do over they didn't deserve. They got it only because of te politiking by Satan.

What’s so hard to believe? #2 Alabama lost in overtime to #1 LSU. Alabama led until the 4th quarter and both teams’ stats are virtually identical.
Oklahoma State lost to Unranked Iowa State in 2 overtimes and was shredded on the ground the entire game. The BCS did exactly what it was supposed to do. Put the #1 and # 2 teams against each other. Had nothing to do with Saban….
It had to do with this
You just won’t admit it because of your irrational hate of Alabama.

We are still seeing the effects of it in this very thread. That night crippled an entire generation of LSU fans.
