You misinterpret "interview".

There are live drills that they get him to run, which in essence is the way you interview a football player.

In which he wasn't full speed at..

quote:

Javier Arenas injured his hamstring running the 40 AT the Combine and it bothered him going forward into the Pro Day. Still didn't stop him from coasting off his onfield performance and being drafted 2nd round.

What's Darvin's excuse?

He played in the secondary, for Saban.. Even Marquis Johnson got drafted that year. He was also a very explosive returner and had good coverage skills.. Seems like some players are being drafted higher than usual because they played for him.. EX: James Carpenter. Saban was surprised as hell to see him go in the 1st round. I'd say Darvin is better than both Maze and Hanks, but watch - 1, if not both, will be drafted in 2012. Also with Kareem Jackson, i doubt he's drafted in the 1st without Saban being the coach.

quote:

odds show it

But there's still a chance. It's not written in stone. Darvin is a possession receiver with 4.5 speed that will be able to come in and bail out his QB, just like he did for Cam th 1st half of the season.

Personally, I think Stephon Gilmore is overrated.. But it seems that NFL scouts like him and I saw Darvin torch him time and time again.

As much as you've talked about him the last 2-3 years, I heavily doubt that.

1.) Cam Newton
2.) Nick Fairley
3.) Mike Dyer
4.) Mike McNeil
5.) Darvin Adams

Y'all have managed to hijack a thread designed to discuss my favorite subject: Dre sucks and is overrated. Damn you....damn you all

To get the thread back on track.. I think Dre will be even better this year and will come out to be drafted in either the 1st or 2nd round. He might be overshadowed by Menzie a little bit, though..

FWIW I think Barron is more overrated then Dre. Barron is sucker for the pump fake and play action.

Barron might get burned sometimes, but the dude hits like a ton of bricks, and is awesome in run support.

He's like Mike McNeil was, except Barron was better in coverage and faster. Both could hit, HARD.

Maze will probably get drafted because he'll run a fast 40 and teams will be interested in him special teams wise. It doesn't matter if Adams was the better college receiver or that Saban's his coach.

In Kirkpatrick's case, we know that he has been torched by complete receivers like South Carolina's Alshon Jeffery. Last time I checked, if an NFL team uses a first round pick on a CB, that CB will be counted on to defend No. 1 receivers - which look a lot like Jeffery. Kirkpatrick is certainly a talented DB, and probably will have a long and prosperous NFL career, but ahead of Claiborne? At this point, I wouldn't do it.

lol come on. So I guess PP7 was just an exception, because he has gotten burned a few times himself.

comparing PP7 and Dre Swagg is dumb....saying they are similar because they both have gotten burned before is even dumberer

PP7 was a way more established player in every facet of the game than dre swagtastic at this point in his career

AJ Green is a great player. I think your "always looked better on the field" comment is skewed a little

AJ did miss a few games last yr as well though which skewes the #'s some, i not going to pretend to know how many games each played in, just saying.

I don't know if we would've beat them if he plays against us.

umm, how is it dumb? They are both DBs who are shutdown most the time.

Well you missed my point, which is also dumb on your part. I am not saying that they are similar because they have both been burned before, I am saying good CBs get burned from time to time, and I used PP7 as an example. Try to follow along.

They feared him outshining their beloved PP7 last season.
And there goes all credibility. Dre's good but let him prove himself dammit.

In PP's senior year he let one person score a TD on him and that was your beloved player that the "browns" traded for . I'll bet my left nut that Dre gives up more, doesn't have near as many return yards and is never mentioned as a heisman candidate.

Okay, he was a Junior who had started for three years. Dre had one TD scored on him all year last year, that I can remember. Try harder.

We are talking CB right? Not special teams. Irrelevant. and LOL at Heisman candidate. Only LSU fans TRULY thought that.
