I'll keep it short...

Coworker starts telling other coworkers that OM has the best WR corp in the nation. As i'm overhearing this, I begin to laugh and ask him "what nation?". He gets a little rustled and starts mumbling about how he can't wait to hang 60 on LSU. I laughed, told him he was crazy, and would he like to bet. He took it down to guarantee of scoring 45 points on LSU, because they have scored that on "everybody". So that's the bet,I win $100 if Ole Miss doesn't score 45 points on LSU in Tiger Stadium.

Do I win, or do I lose this bet?

That's a close call and a good over under line. It will be right around that.

They put up 42 on Bama, but one of those was defensive. That means their offense actually put up 35. LSU's defense is pretty good, but their offense is still questionable. I think you win the bet. Ole Miss will be far less likely to run the score up on a team that can't score on them. They will probably just run a bunch of clock with their big lead in the 4th. I am thinking Ole Miss 35-3. Congrats... i think.

You don't think we get a couple lucky scores like Bama did?

Is Ole Miss better than the 38 they scored at home last year?

You'll win that bet, but he may be right about having the best WR corp in the nation (United States of America before you ask what nation). Definitely top 5. Not sure who else to compare to honestly.

I'd double down on his original claim of 60 points. Grudge match for Coach O.

So, do you think the receiving corp is better without Treadwell?

Neither. Because my guess is that you made this up.

Yes. We are better at every unit except maybe running back. Much better at wideout overall. And we are averaging more points, even without a handful of 70 point games like we had last year.

Coach Orgeron will not allow Ole Miss to score that many points on the Tigers this season.

Yes. As crazy as that is to think. Treadwell was awesome and I'm not sure we have another guy like him BUT we had like 4 capable receivers on the team with Treadwell and Core. We lost both of those guys but added V Jefferson, D Lodge, AJ Brown, Metcalf, and others.

So while we don't have Treadwell, our WRs as a whole got better.

Multiple Potential stars + depth > 1 really big star, 1 above average role player, no depth

Obviously engram, string, pack, that-a-boy-yo, were on both units. So the cancel themselves out.

Yes. And I also think you made the story up. Love the Bear at work stories but generally hear those from MSU fans. Also, we probably don't score that much on LSU so I think you win your imaginary bet. What will you do w/ that imaginary money?

You win. They might win the game, but they won't score 45 points.

Better be consulting a voodoo priest then. Because short of Kelly forgetting how to throw the football the way Bo Wallace did last time in Tiger Stadium there won't be much the ogre can do. Keep improving your offense is my advice. You'll need to score some points.

I would have taken that bet and offered to double it if OM gets 60+ or LSU holds them under 30.

I would say A&M has a better starting group. Idk if any of your players could start over Kirk, Reynolds or RSJ.
