I don't think as much of your defense as you do. They are good but they aren't great. We've played better.

Best WR groups in the country are Ole Miss, Bama, Clemson and aTm... Not in that order but close to it... When 100% healthy aTm probably has the best due to all the experience.

I've got Ole Miss winning 34-28 so take the bet.... The fact that LSU can lose the game and you can still get richer is a nice perk.

Rebels are blind as bats if they think they have faced better D's than LSU...the only won comparable you lost to

This isn't some story about horrible treatment of opposing fans in Oxford, so you can drop the "it's imaginary" thing. He's the biggest Ole Miss fan I've ever personally known... travels to Oxford from BR almost every home game and has been to a few bowl and road games since I've known him.

What makes you think they are better or even close to Alabama or a healthy FSU? You owned Mizzou? The best offense you've played is barely a top 40 offense.

Auburn-38

Hell no. It's a road game against a team that can run the football. Anything can happen. Besides, I've never said we would score 45 but that it'll be close to it. I'd be more surprised if we score less than 34 than I would be if we scored 50 though.

Mizzou was statistically the best offense in the conference...and they had 62 yards total with three min left in the first half...this D is legit and ready to take opponents heads off. but keep on living in delusion! I'm sure you coach isn't that stupid

You guys played two great quarters against both Alabama and FSU, they figured you out and shut you down... and that was early season football.

I just don't see how this Ole Miss team is going to do some embarrassing shite like that to LSU in Tiger Stadium. Our style of play won't even allow you to score that high.

I think you Rebs are being a little too homer, and FAR too dismissive of LSU. The last great Reb offense that came into TS left with 7 points on the board.

Missou sucks and everyone who watches football knew it before you played them. Auburn is the only to 40 offense you've played and you lost the game. This LSU defense is no different than last year's. How'd that work out against competent offenses?

The irony of an LSU fan calling anyone a homer is lost on no one. Help me understand why you think your defense is elite?

Ithough we've handled the best rushing attacks we've seen the last two years including LSU, I'm not still sold on the defense. I THINK we can force you into having to beat us with the pass I'm just not certain yet. If I were I'd take your 45 in a second.

I didn't say elite. Holding Ole Miss under 45 points at home doesn't make anyone "elite". I just think that much like my coworker, y'all are more wrong about how great you are, than I am about LSU's ability to not give up 45 at home.

Doesn't happen often, especially without crazy circumstances

Oh, bet was taken. I caught him in a rustled state. He probably regrets it.

I wasn't talking to you. Another poster compared your defense to Alabama. Which is a joke.

Edit-meant to reply to another poster at any rate. You haven't said anything that I don't necessarily agree with.

I guess you could not respond to my post then.

ETA:

Look, LSU has given up 45+ points at home, once in 8 years. We have only given up 30+ three times in 8 years. I could go back further, but the numbers wouldn't grow much... maybe I could go further back and give a nod to '07 Arkansas who got three scores in OT to score 50+, but it just doesn't happen enough to warrant it.

This is gonna be close. I think this year's game is gonna be an old LSU-ole miss game. Looking forward to it.
