Homer as hell right there. I'd take String over Seals Jones, and Jefferson over Kirk though I love Kirk as a returner. I'd take Reynolds over Adeboyejo but Engram over any two other guys on your team.

I would say A&M has a better starting group. Idk if any of your players could start over Kirk, Reynolds or RSJ.

Id take Kirk and that's it. Not saying Reynolds and seals aren't good but I'd take Kirk and keep the rest of our guys.

You'll win that bet, but they really do have a top notch WR group.

I think Ole Miss wins big but 45 is a bit much.

Better be consulting a voodoo priest then. Because short of Kelly forgetting how to throw the football the way Bo Wallace did last time in Tiger Stadium there won't be much the ogre can do. Keep improving your offense is my advice. You'll need to score some points.

So you are saying Ole Miss scores 45 points in the game this season against LSU in Tiger Stadium?

That's a close call and a good over under line. It will be right around that

For the game total, sure.
For the Ole Miss total, you're fricking nuts.

Good odds that they do. Won't be far off if it's less.

I just came back from the future and it's your kids, bgtiger. Something's gotta be done about your kids!

Oh, and I think I saw in the almanac that you lose the bet.

I love all of these a bear in my office said....

Just be honest and say "I was in my boss' office today and here is what he said..."

And No, We won't score 45 in Tiger Stadium this year, but we will score more than LSU does. As far as WR corp, we do have depth and lots of quality. I do like the starters at A&M and Bama. I think the starting WR at Arkansas are underrated. I don't know what to think of LSU's two top receivers...they look good on paper, but both still just caught 3 passes each this past weekend.

They really may be best WR core money can buy. 45 is a lot and LSU probably has best DBs they will see all year. I would take the under

You'll win the bet even if LSU doesn't win the game.

I think this bet comes down to how careless Kelly plays. Kelly puts up ridiculous stats in and out of conference play, but he also single handedly loses games for the Rebs with bozo plays. If he can avoid having 2 or more critical errors, they should score a good amount. 45 seems high, but they move the ball quickly.

I think Kelly's tendency to make boneheaded plays is greatly exaggerated. But I agree with you that how he plays determines the outcome here. Good players have folded in Death Valley but if he plays a clean game we will score a lot. Honestly Ole Miss' run defense will need to do as much as the offense. Opponents choking the clock is the one thing that can keep the score low, IMO.

They are averaging 41.1 now. I don't think it is a great bet that they will exceed their season average on the road against one of the better defenses they will play this year.

Top WR's vs the top DB's...gonna be a fun matchup but no way they score 45 unless their D/ST scores a couple times. Also, to beat OM you have to run the ball to win TOP and keep Kelly off the field. Lord knows we will have the toughest RB's they will face. Also...will be Kelly's first time in DV with a crazy arse crowd like last time...you absolutely won't run on us so I see Kelly trying to force it and we cause some turnovers...book it!
