Auburn had a 2nd sack that was taken away by a terrible spot.

50 yards difference in passing isn't much especially when 70 yards came on a single play...we can argue this or we can simply trust what has guided football since the beginning of time. I'll choose the correct perspective.

This was a huge key for LSU, imo. I was shocked to see the difference.

This is top notch delusion, Bubba. Good luck with all that.

I never said Auburn was better, but objectively speaking in a close game a team that makes mistakes and cost themselves points often loses even if they are the better team.

Maybe, unless the team that averages two turnovers a game commits two turnovers in the game. And, then there's the opponent, who hasn't had a turnover all season.

Auburn=6 turnovers in 3 games. LSU=0 turnovers in 3 games. Clearly, both teams had an average day as far as turnovers, and the better team won.

Obviously the poll voters realized this was an evenly played game by only dropping Auburn a few spots with the loss. This was high caliber college football on both sides. If LSU would of loss I would of been proud of the way they played, as Auburn should be also.

Sacks that were taken away by "terrible spots" are totally cool but turnovers are random and not an indicator of defensive prowess

A statistical loss?

Auburn sucks, their QB sucks, their coach sucks. That's why they lost

Actually winning the TO by +2 and 10 or more points means you were indeed the inferior team that was aided by mistakes by the opponent based on every interpretation of the game since its inception.

Yeah, ok.

Turnovers is the single most significant stat in determining wins and losses. The team that has protected the ball all year (LSU has not turned the ball over once in three games), and forced two turnovers yesterday is certainly the “inferior” team.

I guess that’s a good way to deflect from N. Texas outplaying y’all?

Auburn had to battle against LSU and the refs but nonetheless, it was still a good game.

Congrats LSU.

and neither is 10 rushing yards. Are you seriously trying to discredit 50 more passing yards while hanging your hat on 10 rushing yards?
