Got it on right now if it matters. Recovered by LSU. Crummy no call that could have buried the Wore Eegles early.

Nah, it's the kid that thinks making mistakes and almost overcoming them is more impressive than avoiding such mistakes and winning in a brutal road venue. And he fiercely defends the position.

The game was basically played evenly in my book. Only thing is it was at Auburn. LSU playing even at Auburn means LSU is the better team in my book.

Actually winning the TO by +2 and 10 or more points means you were indeed the inferior team that was aided by mistakes by the opponent based on every interpretation of the game since its inception.

Hardly. Fans of the losing team always seem to think only their team made mistakes during the game and only those mistakes count. The truth is that both teams made mistakes, but the better team overcame them.

That dude is talking out his arse on both that call and the Devin White personal foul. And the Delpit and Greedy INTs. And on the game of football in general

I concur. LSU was the better team in that game.

Auburn recovered that fumble
this needs to be dealt with. no one "recovered" the fumble. the refs blew the whistle before anyone had possession. there's no way to tell what the refs would have seen in the scrum. there definitely were a couple of defenders there who might have been able to get it. yes, davis handed the ball to the ref but that was after the whistle had sounded and the lsu players abandoned the play

of course, this is all missing the point. the play was fubar all the way.

the refs missed the fumble.
that caused them to blow the play dead prematurely.
then, inexplicably, there was no review.

how do you explain a 1 point win with a plus 10 point score margin via TO's
you do realize that just because a team gets turnovers, it's not an automatic 10 points, right? you actually have to score in real life.

in '04, serna missed 5 fg's and lsu won. was oregon st the better team that day? maybe they should have moved the ball better.

in 2010, tenn had too many men on the field. lsu scored on a retry. was tenn better?

this is a stupid conversation. if you don't want to lose, don't make mistakes. trying to say auburn was better is loser talk. gus said it over and over after the game - lsu made plays, auburn didn't. he didn't make excuses.

Auburn outplayed LSU
in what way?

50 yards difference in passing isn't much especially when 70 yards came on a single play
so 10 yards is a significantly better rushing stat but 50 yards passing advantage isn't much.

this is called special pleading in rhetoric

Auburn had to battle against LSU and the refs
1. penalty on the game winning kick for climbing on another player - not called
2. russell offsides on the last 3rd down of the game - not called. might have led to a first down.
3. missed fumble on auburn's 2nd drive - not called. not even reviewed. not even reviewed after lsu took a timeout. SHADY
4. PI easily could have been called in the ez on pass to jefferson late 3rd q
5. pf on "the defense" after the 4th down stop in the 1st quarter -
6. roughing the passer right before the half - meh.
7. 2nd and 10 3 minutes before half, wanogho holding anthony to spring shivers - not called
8. no reason to overturn the first down review at the beginning of the 4th quarter. there was no camera angle that showed the ball. if you can't see the ball, how can you tell if it crossed the line when the player is on the line? you can't. there has to be indisputable evidence and there wasn't. again, shady

now tell me what penalties lsu committed that weren't called

Burrow also put a dime right between one of your DBs hands to Dillion for a 71 yard touchdown.

They didn’t call pass interference most of the game for either side. It was very inconsistent

Burrow threw for 249 yds and a td pass against a very good D at their own house. Stidham threw for 198 yds 1 td and 2 ints at home. Burrow seems ok to me.

Joey would've EASILY gone over 300 yards passing if the refs didn't let Auburn's DBs get away with rape for the first 3 quarters.

Are you serious? LSU won, and you are still talking about the officiating. I still think Auburn is the better team. If it was clear in the game who the better team was, y'all wouldn't be this defensive.

Scoreboard....Joe B. is a winner under fire. There's no stat for that.
