College athletics is in play and money is destroying the concept. Winning at all cost {having money} is the present and the future.
Programs with the most money pay the highest salaries to coaches, build the best facilities and spend the most money on the athletes with the gap between the elite winning programs and the 2nd level is growing.
The athletes should not be paid and their reward for playing the sport should be an education.
