So he brought stats and an example of why the ref might be biased in favor of LSU?

You brought one call. There were maybe a couple other questionable ones throughout the series but that went both ways.

Mainieri said he told ump not to review the HBP during his post gm presser. Didn't want his pitcher waiting/getting cold during the review.

That's worse than the call itself.

"In the neighborhood of the bag" isn't in play if the a bad throw or misstep is involved.

This is what got ya:

25 BB's
2 HBP's
4 Errors
6 Opp SB's

3 Xtra base hits
0 SB's

Sure. But put the stats for the last game only and take hit the bogus HBP. Also Mainieri implied a bit more that what you are saying. If you read between the lines he basically said it didn’t matter how obvious the call was, the umps wouldn’t overturn it. That doesn’t sound like he believes it was fair either.

I don’t want to get anything twisted though. Y’all won the series fair and square and we were the worse team this weekend. Ellis is an insanely good leadiff man for y’all. 88 pitches or something like that that he saw. We won’t win many series letting our pitch counts get like that

Ump missed the HBP call, but CPM has to get the replay regardless of what he thinks.

The series will be forgotten by the time the road to Omaha starts, just glad the two giants matched up.

Another day, another LSU conspiracy theory. It’s one of the guaranteed events in life. Death, taxes, and corndogs whining about “the man.”

So you're a terrible poster about basketball, you've shown here you know jack about baseball, and only thing left is for you to show how little you know about football.

You're not going to last in the world long if you get this upset about every perceived slight against you/your rooting interests.

I agree that McCann wasnt hit and that Paul should've challenged in that instance.

This is kinda beside the point but 99.99% of college baseball players find a way to get hit by that pitch. I dont know what the hell he was thinking to roll out of the way as far as he did when we needed baserunners. You gotta finesse that sh!t and make the ump think you're making an effort to get out of the way without really moving.. lol. Make the ump call you back if its blantant.

Geez how much did they pay those umpires. Literal darts over the middle not called strikes. A kid asks the ump, “can I please go to first base?” and the ump awards an HBP when he wasn’t hit and the ump didn’t call it originally. Then the neighborhood play on 2nd they actually call Smith off the bag, which never gets called. Fricking BS. And yes, I’m melting
