Yep, 100% the RFs ball. He should've called off the other 2. Hell the ball almost hit him in the head.

But as others pointed out the 2bman running in like he did screwed up the play.

the RFer should've caught it.

Sucks, I was really pulling for The Hogs.

It’s almost like he flashed back to being 9 when there was only 2 good players on the team and they tried to cover half the field each. I’ve made myself watch the gif over and over to build up tolerance.

Lmao. You have serious problems if you let a GD game bring you down 6 years after the fact. Serious problems. Oh and congrats on the participation trophy mentality..."they came closer than the rest of us"...good god.

I was pulling for ya'll frickers. Back to simply hating you now.

That second baseman should transfer or kill himself.

The only way to end that curse is to win it ASAP.
Hogs lose a lot but they will bring back a good core to make another run at it.

Oregon St benefitted from the extra day off and they have been the best team the past two years. They were probably better equipped to beat Fla last year had LSU not upset them.

He’s a senior and drafted and no he doesn’t need to kill himself for goodness sake.

That said, from hence forward, anyone who just barges or forces their way in or even awkwardly joins a two person conversation will now be called a ‘shaddy’.

Your first baseman had it. Shaddy completely messed that up. Great player and you hate to have him remembered that way. Again, your 1st baseman had his eye on it and would have caught it, no doubt in my mind. When someone is right there under it, nobody should be rushing in screaming "I got it"

He disruppted your guy who was right there and damn near ran into him. Totally botched.

Yep.

First baseman was zeroing in on it and Shaddy blew by him. If Shaddy would have backed off or tracked the ball correctly Arky would have won. Not calling it obviously plays into it but that happens all the time and balls still get caught.

Maybe when pigs get home they can have basic pop up practice. A hour or two would help a lot next time.

It really does no good to point fingers now, but yea, Shaddy ruined that series for them right there.

Even though the second baseman tried to be the hero I still don't see how the right fielder didn't even attempt to catch it...it landed right at his feet but yet he didn't even think about catching it

I hadn't really noticed before but Shaddy is 1000% to blame for that ball dropping.

He came trucking in there, bumped the first baseman as he went by. The first baseman stopped, assuming Shaddy was going to field it but of course Shaddy was running so hard he wasn't tracking the ball and overran it by a mile. The first baseman was tracking just fine until Shaddy trucked into his left side and kept on truckin.

The play shouldn't matter just like Buckner's play shouldn't matter but it's easily all people will remember.

Agreed but I think both he and the first baseman got distracted by Shaddy trucking in there. The first baseman got turnstiled by Shaddy.

It does suck, but heres the good news. Its just a fricking game. It literally means jack shite. Its sole purpose is entertainment. It has no other value in the world. And you were provided quality entertainment for longer than most fanbases in the country this season. Was a good time and frick it. Anyone not playing for the team who walks around calling themselves "The champions" is just living in a delusion and lying to themself. I would bet not a single person on this board has ever won a national championship. They've just waved pom-poms and pretended to be chapmions

yep, all of this. We LSU fans have to live with 1/9/12, but there was something about that loss that actually taught me to not take this shite too seriously.

I feel your pain brother. I am an old guy and I was in Little Rock when the Hogs smashed our 1975 National Championship hopes when you upset us.

We were number 2 in the nation and the number 1 team had lost that afternoon. All we had to do was beat the Hogs.
